G-Surf

G-Surf is a gamemode centered around the ancient source-engine art of "surfing".
You slide down (or up) the sides of triangular ramped surfaces at incredibly high speeds, dodging obstacles and gracefully gliding along the track and through the air. A sort of surfing-based parkour, if you will.


In case it's not already clear; this gamemode makes surf maps work as they should.


Comes with two optional Free-For-All Deathmatch modes (the way surfing was originally intended to be played).
Glide through the track while shooting your friends, and avoid getting shot yourself!
Some maps are designed around Deathmatch, and have arenas known as "Jails" that you are teleported to if you fall off the track. Die in the jail to be sent back to spawn, or (depending on the map) team up and solve the puzzle necessary to open the jail door.

Surfing can be incredibly difficult when you're not familiar with it's mechanics. If that's the case for you, either watch the included tutorial above in the screenshots section, or use these console commands on your server to make things a little easier:

• sv_airaccelerate 800
  
• sv_gravity 525

If you would like to make changes to this gamemode for use on your server (aka removing the playermodel selector and replacing it with pointshop, adding timers / map votes etc.) feel free to do so, but do not reupload the altered gamemode to the workshop without my consent.
