Kingdom Management
Expand your Kingdom by building more cities. Cities and special buildings generate influence and will gain territory for you to build on. Roads can improve influence.

Territories under your influence are marked as green in the influence zones view. Territories at the border of your kingdom are still a part of your kingdom and are marked as mild green, as long as there's no enemy territories or enemy soldiers nearby.

You can build buildings inside your territories, such as farms, mills, mines, as long as they are close enough to your kingdom. Some buildings require a minimum influence, and cannot be built on your border. Some other buildings require special conditions. For instance, a lumber mill can only be built on a forest. Towns cannot be built too close to other towns, and cannot be built on mountains or forests.

Some buildings, such as wells and mage towers, will provide a bonus to your kingdom as long as they are in your influence area and as long as there is no enemy on that location

In addition to world buildings, you can build buildings inside your town. Towns can maintain farms, collect taxes and recruit soldiers. You will have to keep a balance between your town buildings and world buildings.

Both world buildings and town buildings will take some time to be constructed once you begin construction. Some buildings, such as roads, are built instantly.

Some places will provide additional interest when you personally visit them. For instance, you can visit a Trading Village and trade resources, even if the Trading village is not in your influence zone.

Other places will contain treasures and resources, or camps that spread enemy influence and send raiders against your city. You will have to deal with these places as soon as you have an army

Your town can also recruit soldiers. Recruiting soldiers is important for protecting and expanding your kingdom. However, soldiers have high upkeep and may deplete your food stores or valuable resources if you can't maintain them.
