Amazing! I was going to put that function in, but I couldn't because I didn't have time.
I don't know if it'll help, but I've already implemented HDR, Tone Mapping, and Bloom Effect in the game. It's hidden because there are a lot of bugs. If you add HDR=True to [Video] Section in the ini file and press CTRL-SHIFT-3 in the game, PostProcess will work.
FX/HDRLIGHTING.fx is the shader for PostProcessor.
I havent bought the game yet and its been years since I played it, so maybe not recently as familur as should be to evaluate the screenshot.
Other than some of the textures, Im not noticing anything overly.
Prehaps thats a good thing, because that means its inkeeping with the overall look that I recall.
Detail on the chains looks awesome.
Main distractions on that shot are down to textures.
The map background page texture on the top right is very lowres, the res on the monsters legs,
oh and WTF is going on with foliage at top left.
It looks like when I used to overuse the emboss feature in Paintshop Pro :P
