How to get "Fast and Fierce" easily
By <<c:ardis>>
Completing a hidden object scene within 20 seconds can be challenging. This method makes it way easier.

How to do it:
  • Enter a hidden object scene
  • Make a screenshot (F12 by default)
  • Exit the hidden object scene (by clicking at the bottom of the screen)
  • Alt+Tab out of the game (or simply exit the game)
  • Open your screenshot folder (which is on the right side of the game's Steam page).

Now you can open your screenshot, take your time and find the things you need before you return to the game.

Instead of opening your screenshot, you could also:
  • Click on "view screenshot on hard drive"
  • Open the screenshot with Paint
  • Mark everything you need.

I recommend to do this in a hidden object scene in which you don't have to open something. I did it in the second scene: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2004756095

Happy achievement hunting!

You can also disable cloud saving, play until you get to just before the puzzle you're going to attempt this with, then copy the save folder to another location. If you succeed, great. If you don't just overwrite with the copy and try again. I've used this method in a bunch of games from this developer and it's worked every time.
The save file will be in this location or similar...
C:\Users\Profile Name\AppData\Roaming\Artifex Mundi\Path_of_Sin_Greed\CE\profile
It's going to be named using a bunch of numbers. Just copy that entire folder and put it somewhere else.

<<c:ardis>> I've done some testing and some reading up and the answer is no, one can not get the achievement through the Extras menus, only though playing the game. I managed to get it during my second playthrough when going for some other missed acheivements as well though, so it is doable. Thanks for you reply in any event! :)

Sadly I don't have a way to test this, since I've already got the achievement. But you can always start a new game and go for the achievement in your new playthrough. :ms_LinaRover_em:

I tried in the Extras section and it does not work. I recorded my time and got 17 seconds, still no achievement.

Can one not get the achievement through the Extras selection in the Main Menu? Do you know?
