If you're trying to start Bioshock Remastered then nothing happens and file validation says everything is fine, do the following:

Navigate to the drive Bioshock is installed on and go to steamapps\common\BioShock Remastered\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010

Run DXSETUP.exe

Once that is finished go to steamapps\common\BioShock Remastered\_CommonRedist\vcredistfolder

Open the 2010 folder then run vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe, do the same for the 2012 folder.

Try to run Bioshock and you should be good to go.
