The Enhanced mode is a unlockable mode in Postal² with lots of changes compared to the normal game, mostly affecting the weapons and the Postal dude but also the game world recieved some changes.

Unlocking the mode:

• To unlock the Enhanced Mode:
  
  • Beat the game on average difficulty or above.
  
  
• To unlock the Apocalypse Weekend exclusive items:
  
  • Beat AW or AWP on the average difficulty or above.

Unlocking with Console:

• To unlock the mode via console simply open the credits via developer console
  
  • Can be bugged and has to be done twice though.

• Achievements and the hidden menu still can be unlocked playing the enhanced mode.
  
  • The achievements have some exceptions though.

The Box Launcher is an Enhanced mode exclusive weapon and will only be avaible in this mode.

• The Boxlauncher is hidden in the warehouse of the RWS headquader.

• You have to climb up there and break open the top of the big box.
  
  • May takes a while for it to open up.

NOTE: Appears in the same place when playing Paradise Lost.

• The Boxlauncher will spawn in one of the toilets in the restrooms next to the little food shop inside the hospital.

• The Boxlauncher only spawns on Saturday when found and carried over from Monday~Friday

• More weapons lying around.
  
• Deadlier weapons lying around.
  
• Weapon ammo limit is raised to 9999.
  
• More Items lying around.

• "Rocket cam" upgrade will be avaible to find and pick up.
  
  • Will let you control your rockets.
    
    • Starting with one in the inventory at Thursday and Sunday.

• This item will spawn around the world.
  
  • Until the effect is worn off the player gains a shield aura and is unable to use weapons but will shoot explosive Coleman heads instead.

HANDS

• Enhanced: Higher attack rate
  
• Primary: Push you backwards
  
  • Only when in air (~like when jumping or falling~)
• Secondary: Push you up into the air.

• The pitchfork replace the shovel when the halloween event is enabled.
  
  • The pitchfork has no special effects like the shovel.

SHOVEL / PITCHFORK

• Enhanced: More powerful attack that will blows up bystander's heads.
  
  • Affects both attacks.

BATON

• Secondary: Throws infinite machetes.

MACHETE

• Secondary: Throws infinite Hammers.

SLEDGEHAMMER

• Secondary: Throws infinite Scythes.

SCYTHE

• Primary: More Powerful attack.
  
  • Can be bugged and spawns 2 heads when killing.
• Secondary: Instant kills bystanders with a powerfull kick back.
  
  • Can be bugged and completely blows up bystander bodies.

BASEBALL BAT

• Primary: Punsh off enemies heads after some hits.
  
  • Including a Slow mo' effect.

DUSTERS

• Primary: Fires a total of 32 Shots instead of 16.
  
• Secondary: Shoots explosive ammunition.
  
  • Secondary also shoots cats when equiped and will not waste them.

SHOTGUN

• Primary: Rapidfire without reloading.

SAWED OFF

• Enhanced: Automatic reloading is gone.
  
  • still can be reloaded manualy.

ORIGINAL SHOTGUN

• Secondary: Shoots scissors.
  
  • Secondary fire mode does not waste Cats.

MACHINGEUN

• Primary: Puddle growths faster.

GASOLINE

• Secondary: Throws 25 matchstick's at once.

MATCHSTICKS

• Enhanced: Higher range.

FLAMETHROWER

• Enhanced: Splits into 5 Grenades after throwing.

GRENADE

• Enhanced: Higher attack rate and faster running while holding them.

SCISSORS

• Primary: Shoots explosive ammunition.
  
  • Headshots can still be performed.

SNIPER RIFLE

• Primary: Rapid fire.
  
• Cat Enhancement: When equiped with a cat it will survive 9 shots before blown off.

GRENADE LAUNCHER

• Can only be found and picked up in the enhanced mode.
