Do you like to take a whole hour to make your first bot?

Do you think that Autonauts just has WAY too much land and that starting on a tiny island in the middle of a vast and uncaring ocean with only two trees and a couple of rocks is just the best idea ever?

Then this mod is for you!

Based on the same idea of Minecraft Skyblocks or Factorio Seablock, this is Autoblocks. Starting with very little and using added mechanics to produce what normally occurs naturally in the world, expand your tiny island of dirt into a vast factory. Use what you already know from Autonauts to automate new production chains.

So far this mod pack can take you up to making bots and tools and now food, but no clothing for colonists yet. I'll be adding that SOON. But colonists does mean research!

Important info:

Recent changes: Mushrooms now exist. Lowered new land from 5 turfs to 3 and added protection for other items on the tile. Fixed the safety so now random stuff won't just suddenly spawn everywhere! Island down to 5 squares again.

WHEN GENERATING THE MAP MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE. Click generate a few times and when the start point stabilises in one spot, then that's where you want to start. A current limitation is that I can't teleport the player or move the island, so you'll end up in deep water otherwise. It's also beneficial to start on a small map only because everything gets deleted.

Tips:

Chop down the trees, then make a workbench and shovel FIRST. Axe isn't as important as you need the shovel to replant the trees. Make an axe second to make planks and poles, but you only have 2 rocks, and you'll need to make a Sieve and Bucket Maker as well. Don't make a chopping block straight away, you'll need that axe to chop trees.

Make a bucket and use a sieve to wash stones from turf.

Drop exactly 3 turf and nothing else on a shallow water tile to turn it to soil.

Mushrooms like holes.

There's about 4 hours of grindy gameplay in this mod so far, and I'll be adding a lot more soon.
