No Vertical Camera

For players like myself who use WASD + [Right Mouse Button] to move and orientate the character, this mod locks the vertical camera and prevents it from moving up/down when holding the [Right Mouse Button], just like in KOTOR 1.


The vertical camera comes with an auto-center feature that doesn't have a smooth transition, so any time the player holds the [Right Mouse Button] to orientate and the camera slightly moves up or down, it yanks it towards the center with a lot of force. It ends up looking very bad and the vertical camera doesn't serve any purpose in the game, which is why this mod was made.


Mods which affect the camerastyle.2da file will not be compatible. Therefore if the mod "isn't working", disable your other mods until you find the one that is causing the issue.

Download the mod and drop the file into; "...\Knights of the Old Republic II\override" folder.
