Abstract
Rarely used effect
Suitable for something subjective
For example, when the image has something similar

Bubbles
Also quite subjective effect
Its successful application can be seen on these wallpapers

Clock/Countdown
Effects added in recent updates, add hours and calendar in your wallpaper

Ember - Small/Large
Very flexible and variable effect
Use it to display sparks / magic / light
I often use this effect as light
In order to do this, you need to remove the visibility of the particles of the effect in the editor of the effect itself and the change in the playback frequency

An example of such an effect on my wallpaper
Most often it is better than standard pulsation as it looks more lively and randomized
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1974344882
Foliage
At first glance, a useless effect, but the combination with blur will allow using additional animation

Fire/Fireworks
No special description required
To work with fire, use opacity, playback frequency

Fog
Very very flexible effect
You can use it as a simulation of strong winds, fog, frosty waves, additional animation and giving the atmosphere to your wallpaper
If you want to apply the effect to all wallpapers, If you need a loop effect in one place, no movement, I advise you to apply Fog 1
For small effects like fog in small areas, frost, blowing use Fog 2
Use the size scale and sliders to adjust the size to adjust

Examples of both types of effects in full screen and small areas

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1935843580

Interractive
Drops - Base effect, use opacity and playback frequency
Trails 0 - The effect is pursued by the cursor, however, its application may be such as on the wallpaper below
The gravity effect is used below, however you can also use this effect as an analog for your ideas
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1522352870&searchtext=Naruto
To create a similar effect like on Naruto wallpaper, you need to change the effect settings as in the screenshot below
You must uncheck all points 0-7

It is also necessary to change the following settings
Change and look at the rotation of the effect, if necessary, reduce and increase the parameters

Trails 1 - Add if you want a light effect of pursuing the cursor, opacity and speed will allow you to more flexibly adjust the effect

Fireflies - No parsing required
Crickets, lights, apply this effect if necessary
To disable the effect of repulsion by the cursor, remove this value

Leaves
I will not analyze each effect separately since they are the same in essence
When editing, also use size, speed, opacity

Some useful parameters are min / max size

Leaf rotation speed

Lightning
No description required, use reproduction frequency and opacity parameters to give realism

Light Shafts
Flexible effect that allows you to create not only the sun's rays but also additional light thanks to the flexible setting of the effect
I recommend using 0/1 effects for sunlight and another light.
Use options opacity, Playback rate, speed, lifetime to edit the effect
Please note that a special effect can be achieved by moving and changing the effect on the screen through the size sliders
In order to edit the effect of ray movement or completely disable it, use the parameters as in the screenshots below

Interesting effects from this list are Charge, Sparkle, Gravitation, Pulse
Use these effects to animate stars, drops of water
The basis of use, as with all other effects, speed, opacity, playback frequency

A couple of useful settings for the rain effect
Allows to expand and narrow the area of rain
For example, allow you to concentrate at one point

Example

Smoke
Suitable for smoke from pipes, cigarette smoke and other
Use speed, opacity, playback frequency
Example

Snow
Flexible effect, suitable naturally for snow, all kinds of magic simulations and other things

In order to achieve the effect as in the example below, I advise you to use Duplication of the effect, followed by changing the settings (minimum maximum particle size)

Example with dublicate effects

Spark/Stars
No description required, use to simulate stars, shooting stars
Use speed, playback frequency
Renderables (Left menu)
Image Layer
The most frequently used item from all in this list is needed to import pre-prepared PNG images

The effect of stretching the corners of the image
It can be used on layers to create the effect of swaying grass, etc

You can animate all this thanks to
this effect
Adjust the color of the effect for you
In combination with Ember, you can create a truly realistic light

Change speed and Y axis Z

Shake
One of the most important and very flexible effects in the editor
Allows you to create any kind of animation of the from the swaying of grass and trees to the animation of flapping eyelashes and the movement of bodies and objects
When working with a brush, use low values of 5-35 If you need a small and soft animation, or 150-250 if you need a strong and noticeable animation and an opacity parameter of 10-30
If you need to smooth the corners of the animation, set the opacity parameter to 5-13 and value to 0 and edit the corners
Leave the Hardness scale at 30-50%

You can see examples of working with Shake in the video tutorial from Vell

You can use it to animate the flow of water, waterfalls, simulate the movement of clouds
When working with a brush, perform a non-breaking effect on the part of the image where you want to see the effect
Adjust the scale of the strength and speed of the effect for a more realistic look
Also good in combination with motion blur

An example of working with these effects

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1139304621

Water Ripple
The name speaks for itself
Use to create ripples on the water
However, it can be used in many other ideas
For example, I used it as an imitation of burning candles
In some abstract wallpapers he is also very good
Use the speed, scale, ratio and Ripple strength to change the appearance of ripples

An example of a combination of ripples and water flow in non-standard effects
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=833227004

Blur Effects
Blur effects
A sufficiently flexible effect will allow you to blur some areas or the entire image

Sometimes you can apply it to some layers or other objects, for example, to create a small pulse
Simple effect, just use as you like

In addition to the usual effect of fire, it will allow you to create a certain flow
For example, if you want to depict lava or a stream of fire flowing down

Allows you to change the color of the selected image area
Suitable in order to change the color of say any object or point
Good and beneficial effect

4 effects in this menu
Simple enough and no difficulties arise with them
Use on layers or on the main image if you want to change or distort the picture
Rarely used

Edge Detection
I used this effect for some images and gifs

Examples
Tint

God Rays
Very useful and flexible effect
However, I note that it gives a very large increase in consumed video memory, even if the effect is small
For finer tuning, use the settings for speed, force, beam length
You can also paint it with a brush where you need
However, I note that the effect is predisposed to those areas of the image where there are bright white shades
Customize for your goals

Example
I painted an effect on the sun

Shine
Use this effect if you want to add shine or diversify the light in your image
Like the previous one, this effect is very flexible in setting and also allows you to draw it anywhere

You can see a good example of Shine here
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1970387664

Local Contrats
Allows you to increase the contrast and clarity of the image
Sometimes it can be applied to individual objects to emphasize them
Somehow rarely used
Preparation for publication
Use a good preview or GIF file ( https://ezgif.com/ )
You can create a short video ( Use Fraps - Handbracke - Adome Premier )
Customize the color scheme of the wallpaper in the Edit section - Change project settings

Useful links and tips
https://ezgif.com/video-to-gif - A simple and useful website for creating gif previews of your wallpaper
Tip - Use the Optimize transperency option by 3-5% to significantly reduce file size
Sometimes this gives up to 70% reduction in size
Also, to create GIFs, use short videos of 3-5 seconds previously looped in the video editors (Vegas, Adobe premier)
Do not load your wallpapers with effects and see how much% of the video memory they use in the task manager
Use images with a resolution of 1920x1080 and higher
