Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" (1:1 Scale)

Curtiss JN series was originally produced as a training aircraft for the U.S. Army, the "Jenny" continued after World War I as a civil aircraft, as it became the "backbone of American postwar civil aviation."

DESCRIPTION & FEATURES

Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" is lightweight biplane, paint is inspired by The Great Waldo Pepper movie.

Update 2 Jan 2024:
- Added fluid nozzles as exhaust to remove excessive smoke blowing to the pilot's face

Update 18 Dec 2022:
- Complete redesign based on my Curtiss JN6 variant, and significantly lighter and less powerful than JN6. Paint is inspired by The Great Waldo Pepper movie.

This Jenny is so small that there's even no room for an electric motor that could start the engine.

That would be realistic yes but I left the idea of swinging propeller from outside for the practicality. Especially in flight, you can't restart the engine if it stops for some reason like thunder.
