Agreed. RedLetterMedia's commentary and reviews of the recent Star Trek show vs. the older series really outlines the differences between the shows and why the having a crew that is always saying one-liners and trying to be cool feels so hollow for anyone seeking reason and substance. I watched several episodes of Netflix's "Another Life", but the characters are so ridiculous that it's unbearable! The show revolves around a spacecraft and its crew of scientists who do nothing but whine, make snarky comments, and approach every problem ever as if they have never heard of the scientific process!!! It makes me so furious that I had to write this enormous comment!
