Hopefully this gives a great watering down about the main menu for newcomers who are lost in the depth of the game.

On this screen you can review your initial loadout and your character's abilities same as on the main menu along with counter for collectibles. You can drop weapons with L like that and hover over them with mouse to see what they are.

To bring up the Weapon information screen press C. Press X to bring up Character stats. Some items have a recycling bonus that you can find out by doing the recycling research after which the item description will have an "R:" that explains the recycling bonus.

The game does a daily backup. If your save gets corrupted you can go to <user>/appdata/local/synthetik and rename one of the backups to Save.sav

The prestige shop provides all kinds of fun things. If you reach level 25 with a class a prestige option will appear for 1000 data (max data you can have)
from left to right the icons are:
-Give experience to currently selected class for leveling
-Re-roll daily modules. (read part about chevrons)
-Tactical mode which only gives you class item and the item in the first slot, no modules and you gain either a stun or flash grenade and a C4 or a bear trap while also making the game significantly slower so the player has to be more careful.
-Hyper Adrenaline makes it so the player deals and gets incredible amounts of damage, even the weakest weapons can demolish anything but the player too can be killed with a couple shots.
-Madness makes the game a more fast paced experience, the terror level is increased but so is the player's speed and damage. Pick this if you want to RIP AND TEAR
-This diamond has the chance of giving a random bonus to your next run.
Possibilities are: credits, a random buff, a module core, upgrade kit, weapons you can only get here, etc.

Weapon mastery currently has no function besides telling you how much you used the weapon. Unjamming weapons grants higher mastery

By adding power tokens to items their power increases by quite a lot. if you have a favourite item its definitely suggested you add one to it.
On weapons the power token gives them extra ammo gain so those guns you struggle with the ammo economy could use some or just go wild with your favourite gun.



The Up and Down arrows are drop chance tokens, they increase or decrease item/weapon drop chances by 50%.

You can add an up arrow by clicking the silhouette of the arrow with the left mouse button or using the up arrow on the keyboard.
