Best settings for Windows 10
By Cellulo
As this game use the first versions of the Unreal engine, some settings from Unreal Tournament 1999 game can work with X-COM:Enforcer.

First you need to choose the DIRECT3D video driver for the game.

Here my own settings for my Widescreen 1920X1080 75hz, change the settings for your screen specs:

Edit "XCom.ini" file from "system" folder, modifiy these lines:

RESOLUTION

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]

FullscreenViewportX=1920
FullscreenViewportY=1080
FullscreenColorBits=32
CurvedSurfaces=True
MinDesiredFrameRate=75.000000

SOUND

[Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem] (to have a better sound quality)

Latency=60
OutputRate=44100Hz

GRAPHICS SETTINGS

[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice]

VolumetricLighting=True
UseTrilinear=True
DetailTextures=True
UseTripleBuffering=True
Use32BitTextures=True
Use32BitZBuffer=True
UseVSync=True

Edit "User.ini" file from "system" folder, modifiy these lines:

CAMERA FIXED TO CAMERA FREE

[Engine.Input]

C= to C=XFreeLookToggle

The "C" key is a good placement because the player movement are on WASD keys, if you want other key than C key, just copy "XFreeLookToggle" word on another key after the "=" sign.
If you exit the game and restart the game the camera fixed will go back, just press "C" key to call the free camera again.

FOV

[Engine.PlayerPawn]

DesiredFOV=100.000000
DefaultFOV=100.000000

ADVANCED OPTIONS

Last thing you can call a console in the game to change some settings, just press "~" (tilde) key in top of the "tab" key, (for azerty keyboard: "%ù" key near the "enter" key), in the system console window, type "preferences" and press "enter" key, this will call a new window "Advanced options" with all settings for the game.

Thank you
small addition:
[XMenu.UMenuRootWindow]
GUIScale=1.000000
LookAndFeelClass=XMenu.UMenuBlueLookAndFeel

set: GUI Scale=2.000000
increases menu size at 1920x1080 resolution

Is it possible to reduce the size of the interface in the game itself ?
