You need to catch each fish 3 times for it to drop fingerlings.

* Yanling Lake - missable after act 3.
** Yanling Hills - despite the name, this fishing spot is in Yangping, top of the map. Accessible on Act 3.
*** Yangping Reed Marsh - very missable, only available on the evening the first time you reached Yangping, just after you exit the tomb from Nameless Cave.
**** Frog does not drop fingerlings.

Yanling Deepwater is accessible on Act 3 after Yanling is destroyed
Abyssal Water is accessible on Act 4 from Wuhan you can re-enter the abyss from Hall of Eternity

I can't seem to get Carp. Been fishing outside of Yangping for a while but only get mandarinfish :(

@Dice_24K: There's a fishing spot next to the armor merchant in Qixia, which should be the spot you're looking for.

So uh... What is the "Qixia Lakeside" exactly? I'm fishing next to my broken home with prawn to look for some crab - it's the only fingerling I'm missing (that I can get to at this moment, still in Act 2)
I use the proper bait, Prawn -> but I get hit with a "there are no fish here that like this bait." I've tried a few things, like reloading the area by leaving and coming back and other things but there's no change. I can't fish for crabs.

@Fluffy, I been struggling the same, turns out, you have to use clams, and I only had 3 clams so I was able to get 3 perches from the broken bridge, no where else unfortunatley.

Why can't I catch any goddamn Perches????? Fishing at bridge for like 40th time.. still nothing

Given 10 bait and only manage to catch fishes in the last 2 attempts.
Now I am stuck as the quest require 3 fishes :steamsad:
Any idea where can i get more baits?
