Project Reborn (PR) is an updated version of the previous project known as The Definitive Edition. The goal is to fix older and unstable PC games by Rockstar Games, as well as make it possible to play games that were never released on this platform. The project was launched in 2016 with a mod pack for GTA: VC called «Reborn», and I decided to keep that name for future projects.

By installing the Project Reborn patch you are breaking the Rockstar end user license agreement and when contacting their support, they may refuse due to the EULA violation. In accordance with the GNU GPL license(s), as the authors of this guide, we have a right to non-commercial distribution and modification as long as no changes are made to the original source. We are not the authors of all the following modifications, and therefore any error/crash/bugs should be directed to the developers themselves.

The patch has been updated and the following changes have been made:

• The patch was rebuilt from scratch;
  
• All modifications have been updated to the latest versions;
  
• Some incorrect or conflicting modifications have been removed;
  
• Some modifications have been added (you can see the updated list in the «Sources» section).

Do not forget that the update should only be installed on a clean game. There may be problems with saves in the form of various bugs. Recommend starting a new game!

Faced with a certain problem, or just want to know as much information as possible before starting the game? Answers to frequently asked questions are published below:

1. You still need the original game to install this patch!
   
2. Game logos and Steam Overlay at the beginning of the game may not work.
   
3. This has not been tested on Steam Deck, so you will be the first to know how the game will work on this platform.
   
4. To install the patch, unzip the archive to the game folder and agree to replace the files.
   For example:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bully Scholarship Edition
5. The graphics settings in the game should look like this:
   
   
6. You should not use a frame rate more than 60. This is the highest limit where the game works without problems;
   
7. If you want to change the FPS (for example, you are faced with the impossibility of some missions), you can change the following values in the SilentPatchBully.ini file:
   
   "FPSLimit=60" to "FPSLimit=30"
8. If you are experiencing problems running the game, try setting compatibility with Windows XP in the properties of the executable file.
   
9. You can enable anisotropic filtering and vsync for smoother gaming and detailed graphics in your graphics card settings.
