Strategy 1 (hard): Make sure you destination town is near and not passing hostile territory. Lead the herd towards the destination town, be careful to move around any terrain that's too steep. You'll be paid for each nearby cattle when you reach the destination town's zone.
Strategy 2 (easy): Fast travel to the destination town, but stop directly outside its zone. (If you accidentally step inside its zone just walk back outside.) Save the game. Load the game. Watch cattle respawn next to you. Enter town zone. Profit. You may see message about cattle falling off the map while travelling, these can be safely ignored.
Treasure box strategy 2: Move away from the box until it's about 20 to 25 degrees below the horizon, and then dig a downward sloping tunnel to the box. Once looted walk back the way you came, and use the pick axe to clear any snags you might run into.
Shop jobs:
Shop job letter delivery: Usually around 4k peji, paid upon reaching the destination town's zone. These jobs are simple and straight forward, however, the usual travel distance involve make them too annoying to do.
Shop job treasure box: Gives you a nav marker to a buried treasure box that's either inside, or just outside of town. These jobs don't require you to travel anywhere, but the loot is limited and boxes buried absurdly deep, so doing these jobs depends on how much you like buried treasure and digging holes. After accepting the job you need to go to your map and select the treasure marker, so it's visible on you compass. As mentioned in the job description you'll need a pick axe. Press "N" to toggle the pick axe's strength between minimum (1) and maximum (50).
Money:
If you don't have enough money for upkeep you'll go into negative wealth. The only bad effect I've observed while in "debt" is that you can't buy things from the trader. Despite this you can pay for quest related things while in "debt", putting you even further into the negative.
Rarity:
From limited sampling I've noticed that rarity affects things in this manner:
common (white border): base line
uncommon (blue border): +10% effect, +100% cost
rare (purple border): +20% effect, +200% cost
"unique" (red border): +30% effect, +300% cost
Cost increase is for both its peji value and recycled material value.
Special cases:
AI skill chips:
Common: 6 perks
Uncommon: 8 perks (guessed)
Rare: 10 perks
Unique: 12 perks (guessed)
Proficiency grows whenever you get EXP for any reason. It is decided by current weapon you holding.
Other features already explained inside game.
Anyway, I was trying to thumb it up from the activity page and now I see that comments and thumbs are in both places. So that explains why I can't even thumb up the activity page version.
Ideally, I wouldn't have published it until later either. Girl Civ just doesn't bother explaining a lot of crucial things and there is no other documentation for this. The game just released too, so it has the most exposure it is likely to get. Now is the time where a guide would do the most good.
I wish I knew. I've never bothered with Steam guides and haven't the faintest idea ;-;
Anyway, it seems like you banged out that guide pretty quickly. I always feel like if I haven't put at least a few hundred hours into something then I probably don't know nearly enough to write a guide.
