So always number 1 tip is to take cover if there is too many enemies (like in prison) you got a torrent trying to shoot you in the prison of Half Life 2 continuing story. So make sure to push up while you are taking cover this is probably good because it'll help you save more health.

Make sure you don't run into fire on accident! If you actually do then life will become worse.
