I might've written that a little bit confusingly, essentially all ratios will have 1 at the beginning in this game, except for driving wheels. 2:15 is the same as 1:7.5, but ratios are rarely written with decimals. The easiest way to reach a generic sweetspot is following up a 1:3 with a 2:5, and ratios multiply eachother so you will be left with 2:15
I am overwhelmed by all the numbers, but isn't the last paragraph a bit confusing?

Essentially clutches have 2 values: Engagement and engine load.
You can have loose engagement to make your engine spin faster and be able to move when you normally couldn't or run your engine higher to try to get a bit of speed...
But the curves have always been misaligned. The engine load curve reaches 140% load at 0.85 clutch setting. That means it's stressing the engine 40% more than having 1.0 engagement.
If you're driving optimized and close set gears this will just ruin your day, you need some way of skipping the values between 0.65 and 0.9999. Usually a little microcontroller where you have a detector that just outputs 1 instead of incoming value when the value is above 0.65
Can you update the link for clutches being broken? I thought they just worked on a x^6 curve? I keep trying to find information on this subject but cant find anything
