This allows you to glean much earlier, which might be the difference between having to take a guess or not.
A Regular Chord or Double Chord do flip tiles, and either of those will only count as only 1 turn.
If you're trying to maximize the number of turns on a given board, then you should avoid Regular Chord or Double Chord , but you can still Right Chord .
In the other extreme where you want to finish the board as quickly as possible or with as few turns as possible you should instead try to Regular Chord or Double Chord as often as you can.
So if you have a buff that require 20 turn because charging up, you will have to click them separatly, as doing a right click-chord would only count as a single turn, wasting oportunities to use your buff more often
For instance, say you have a 4 with 6 tiles surrounding it and you can safely rule out one of these 6 tiles as not containing a monster but you are unsure of the other five
Simply flag all 5 unknown tiles, chord the 4 to remove the known tile and only that tile then remove the 5 flagged tiles which are now gleaned.
