Just some maps I made to try an recreate the feeling of colonization in civ kinda like in eu4. All civs should spawn on the old world, the new world has plenty of natural wonders ripe for the taking.

I recommend using some raging barbarians so that the new world is flooded with barbs. Use aggressive AI to help the ai actually want to expand, use max 22 civs and plenty of city states for best experience . Also use the random start mod for whowhards mix n pick mods to avoid spawning in the same place every start.
