Hello, this guide will assist you in collecting all the collectables in the Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency.

This guide will spoil the locations of the collectables which are all foods in this version of the game. If you don't want them spoiled leave this guide until you need it.

Once you collect a collectable, it will show in the little case on the main menu. You will also receive an achievement for each collectable you collect. To collect a collectable you need to pick it up. It does not need to go in your inventory. You can die as well, you just need to have picked it up.

There is a plain or regular version of each collectable and a golden version. The plain collectables are usually easier to find than the golden collectables. Which are in really obscure or dangerous locations.

Each collectable has two versions, a plain and a golden version.

Tomato
Nachos
Cucumber
Cheese
Salsa
Avocado
Minced Meat
Taco
Cabbage

PLAIN

This collectable appears before you even start the story. You find find the plain tomato behind the prosecuter box to your right in the main menu area.


GOLD

The golden tomato is a really weird one because it is inside the TV in the main menu.


I recommend that you put your hand underneath the TV and pull the trigger to get this.

Ah the nacho, such an object to be found.

PLAIN

The plain nachos can be found on the second train in the carriage just before the locomotive (front of the train).



Be careful as there are robots in here.



GOLD

The golden nachos are probably the most dangerous collectable to get. You need to enter the carriage that has heaps of robots on the top as well as having 5 robots on it.



I would say that getting this collectable would be a suicide mission.



But it is possible even though you need to lie down. It is underneath the seat in the middle of the carriage.

These are some fun collectables. Probably my favourite

PLAIN

The plain cucumber can be found in the shelfs with the boxes that are to your right from when you spawn.



It is on a shelf at about head height.


GOLD

The golden cucumber can be found in the corner of the room with the fire alarm button.


Enter into the second cavity.



It will be to your left.

PLAIN

You can find the plain cheese in a bathroom in the "top of the taco" building. There is even a worker to greet you.



If you go to the bathroom next to this you will find it in the second stall from the wall furtherest away from the door.



GOLD

Just before you enter the building that you can find robert in you can go to a balcony above the balcony you enter by.



It lies on the floor.

Both of these can be found outside, however they are pretty difficult to get to.

PLAIN

The plain salsa is located in a small opening about a balcony outside just above a robot that you probably should kill.



It is just sitting there, trying to not be found, but look it was found.



GOLD

The largest level in the game ready for the most obsucure locations.

PLAIN

The plain avocado is on top of the watch tower in the warehouse storage room.




It's a little tough to get up to the top of the tower because of the robots.




GOLD

Go to the reception and bring a severed limb from another robot that can be found in the broken parts room. You will need to do this to complete the game anyway.



The receptionist will tell you a code and ask you to put it into the door to the left of them. DO NOT ENTER THE CODE.




Eventually the receptionist will get annoyed and will leave the reception and open the door for you.




You will then be required to slaughter the receptionist.




Drag the corpse of the receptionist to the eye scanner down the hall way and 2 lefts from the door.




The golden avocado will be right next to the TV that if you click the play button you will get some mini roombas!

Welcome to Adams lair, its really something to be afraid of. Having minced meat in this room feels right. Collect both of these before you alert Adam.

PLAIN

The plain minced meat is on top of the crushing machine.




Teleport onto the top of the crusher from a stack of boxes near by.




The plain minced meat is just going to be sitting there.




GOLD

The golden minced meat is under what I call the safety platform. It is near the the thing that removed Adams legs.




You will be required to sit down while in this air vent thing. It will sit at the back.

Haha, tacos are in the taco level.

PLAIN

The plain taco is in the tree to the right of the barn. I don't know if this is the way the developers intended that you get it but I don't seem to know a clear way to do it. Alternatively, there is another way to do this in case your play space is not big enough. Thank you K Star for helping with this!

METHOD A




Reach up and enter the barn, you can also go through the barn through the door but eh.




Teleport to the very edge here.




You will need to walk really far our in the real world, for some the play space may not be big enough though.




Walk as far out as you can and aim for this platform, it may be better to go through the tree branches but do what works for you.




Up on the platform is a bucket.




And under that bucket is the plain taco...



METHOD B

This method involves throwing grenades up at the platform. Apparently this can cause issues but is a method that works.

GOLD

The golden taco is in a dangerous place depending on when you go there. After you have finished TACO and Winta has given the cost optimiser emotion instead of going to the door so you can watch the credits.

Enter the barn attic like you did to get the plain taco. Go through the little hole in the floor and sneak into the control room where you get told by Winta to replace fuses and what not.

You may notice that there are no robots left walking around the place meaning that it is totally safe to walk where ever you wish to. Teleport through the pipe into the main CPU.




Make your way into the Secondary CPU room.




Teleport up to one of the high computer stacks. And collect your reward.




You are also able to do this when you arrive first in the level but doing this with robots around is a highly dangerous task.

PLAIN

You can find the plain cabbage in the tall cupboard underneath the TV.




GOLD

The golden cabbage can be found behind the couch.
