2020/2021 Win10 Fix for Hexen II

This is a simple walkthrough on how to fix steam launch of Hexen II
I noticed a lot of guides had broken links.
This is the solution for launching the game and it crashing immediately.

Walkthrough

Download Link above
Make folder on desktop [right click desktop, click create folder]
unzip and drag your files inside into your newly made file
go to hexen in your steam library right click and click properties
select local files tab near the top center of the pop up window
click Browse Local File [you're now in your hexen II folder]
click data1
copy both Pak1 and Pak2 files
go to your newly made hexen folder on desktop
click data1
paste both Pak1 and Pak2 files
go back
click the H2.exe
???

I can't seem to see the health bar

keeps giving me the "Specified video mode not available:

if you used -width, -height or -bpp commandline arguments, try changing their values," etc however even after changing the widow size and such its still gives the same error. not sure if you can help

Hey I need some help. I copied both Pak 1 and 2 files (called pak 0 and pak 1) and when I opened it told me that it runs on open gl. And when I tried play it started but just immediately kicked me out, did I do something wrong?
