Note: Story-wise this might seem a bit odd, but there are several possible interpretations as to why this is the right answer.

Day 2/4

Note: Both the snake and the flower *must* live, otherwise the assassin will succeed at his job a bit too much.

Day 3/4

Note: Multiple solutions work here, as long as the eyes are not the only thing left in the result.
