Description

An early look at my Facebreaker Ranger. Facebreaker builds are actually pretty awesome if you gear for them correctly.

As you may have noticed, my rings and my amulet all add flat physical damage - this is very important! I'm also using an elemental damage aura - in this case Hatred. Wrath or Anger would do too, but since you can't naturally crit while unarmed, I picked cold damage since it can still chill on hit. Anger would give a bit more DPS, Wrath is inconsistent due to wide damage range, but neither of them have that added utility from their crit effects.

I've decided to go with frenzy for my main attacks. Single target Frenzy is linked with Faster Attacks and a quality Multistrike, AoE Frenzy is linked with Blood Magic and Melee Splash. The idea is to link both attacks to a blood magic gem and survive off of Life Leech and/or Life On Hit, which would allow me to attack without worrying about mana, while at the same time running up to 3 auras.

Finally, for curses, I'm currently running Warlord's Mark against packs and Vulnerability against beefy single targets. As I progress into the end of Cruel and Merc later on, I will probably pick Enfeeble instead.
