Welcome to Dead Hungry Diner
In the game DEAD HUNGRY DINER there are 11 achievements to attain to reach 100% completion. They are pretty basic achievements that are fairly easy to attain as far as achievements in games go. The main difficulty will be putting in the TIME to achieve them (serving 8,000 customers will take a few hours).

For the purposes of this guide: 1.1 is a "STAGE" ..... 1.1 through 1.10 is a "WORLD". There are 50 Stages to complete that make up 5 Worlds (10 stages per world).

RECOMMENDATIONS (take 'em or leave 'em):

Play the game on Casual Mode to learn the basics.

After playing a few stages go back to the Menu Screen and click on the big ? mark on the left side of the screen. This is a map of a basic stage that will tell you almost everything you need to know to play the game successfully. Scroll over any section of the picture to learn more about that particular section.

Also play Casual Mode to achieve almost all of the achievements (as far as I can tell you can get 9 out of the 11 achievements on Casual).

Overall it's a pretty repetitive game (not that most games aren't). That being said, play a few stages at a time and then go do something else. Come back to it and play some more to slowly work your way through the game. It's easy to get burnt out on this one depending on your personality type.

TIPS:

Skelleys eat SUPER SLOW -- use your Zombify spell on them. This will make them eat at zombie speed which is much faster. (This should help you get 3 stars in Stage 5.7 on Casual difficulty.)

Patience spell (hearts at the top) -- Be smart how you use this spell. This means: mainly use this spell on Queues as this will buff a lot of monsters instead of just one monster. ALSO, don't forget to move monsters from one queue to the other if there is space before using the Patience spell. (Example: there are 3 customers in the left line and 2 customers in the right. The 3 on the left are barely upset where the 2 on the right are really angry... do you use your Patience spell on the 3 or the 2? Well, why not all 5??? Move the two on the right over to the 3 on the left. NOW use your patience spell on all 5 of them!)

Sit a customer at a table that had the SAME type of customer sitting there previously and you'll get a larger payout. EXAMPLE: If there is a single werewolf in line and you recently cleared the table where a single werewolf was sitting, be sure to put the werewolf in line at that table (even if this means having to use another of your spells to zombify a neighboring table). This has helped me achieve 3 stars in many of the stages that I originally couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting enough $ to get the 3 stars. (ALSO, sitting a single werewolf at a 3-seater table where werewolfs were just sitting will also give you the larger payout -- it is the same type of "table runner" that matters).
STARS ACHIEVEMENTS
STARS I: SCORE 10 STARS IN A SINGLE GAME
STARS II: SCORE 100 STARS IN A SINGLE GAME
STARS III: SCORE 150 STARS IN A SINGLE GAME

The STARS achievements are pretty straightforward - when playing each stage within a World you receive stars depending on how well you serve the customers. Each stage grants up to 3 stars -- each World a max of 30.

In the upper right corner you'll see the Gold value you are to reach in order to achieve 1 star -- upon attaining that Gold value the Gold amount will change to show you how much it will take to reach 2 stars; this will happen again upon reaching that Gold amount and it will now show you how much to attain to reach the 3 star payout.

STARS I is the easiest achievement in the game as it should only take you the first 4 to 5 stages in World 1 to get this achievement.

STARS 2 is a bit harder, but in one playthrough of all stages within each World you should easily get 100 stars (this can be done without replaying any stages to improve your stars in those that you did not get 3).

STARS 3 can be tough. I recommend playing through the entire game and buying as many of the spells as you can. Some of the stages are actually much harder than others and it doesn't seem to really pertain to which World you are in. (I personally had a harder time getting 3 stars in 1.7, 1.9, 4.1, 4.3, 4.4, and 5.7.) After beating the game all the way through you can now go back and focus on any of the stages that you did not achieve 3 stars.

***HELPFUL TIP***: It took me a while to realize that if you sit a customer at a table that had the SAME type of customer sitting there previously you'll get a larger tip.
WAITER ACHIEVEMENTS
WAITER I - SERVE 100 CUSTOMERS
WAITER II - SERVE 4,000 CUSTOMERS
WAITER III - SERVE 8,000 CUSTOMERS

WAITER achievements are easy to attain but are mainly a matter of your time.

The WAITER I achievement is the 2nd easiest achievement in the game and should only take playing a few stages within World 1 to achieve.

WAITER II & WAITER III are attained by playing the stages enough times to have served the required amount of customers.

In my first run-through of all stages (on Casual difficutly) I had served about 2,750 customers. After going back and replaying the few stages I still needed to get 3 stars in to achieve STARS III, I have now served a total of 3,622 customers. This said, playing the game again on EXPERT and MASTER, I will easily serve 4,000 and then 8,000 customers.

You could also simply replay stages on Casual difficulty enough times to serve 8,000 customers if you don't desire to increase the difficulty.
PATRON ACHIEVEMENTS
PATRON: FINISH GAME TO THE END
SUPER PATRON: FINISH GAME ON HARDEST LEVEL

PATRON achievements are pretty much accomplished how they are described: to get PATRON simply work your way through all 10 stages within each of the 5 Worlds and beat the game. SUPER PATRON requires that you set the difficult to MASTER and do the same thing. It does not matter how many stars you achieve along the way - get at least 1 star in a stage to move on to the next stage and repeat all the way till the end.
MILLIONAIRE ACHIEVEMENT
MILLIONAIRE - EARN 1,000,000 GOLD

Easy as that - you have to earn 1,000,000 gold. That being said, this is also a matter of just playing the game. After beating the game for the first time on Casual difficulty (and having gone back and attaining 3 stars in all stages) I have earned 944,790. It's a fairly easy achievement but does require your time. I'll easily reach the millionaire mark by replaying the game on Master when I try for the SUPER PATRON achievement.

You can simply stay in Casual difficulty and replay stages until reaching 1,000,000 if you don't want to turn up the difficulty.
IT'S FULL OF STARS! ACHIEVEMENT
IT'S FULL OF STARS! - EARN 1,000 STARS

The hardest achievement in the game. I assume it will require playing through all 3 difficulties and then maybe even replaying the game some more.

I am not 100% sure though as I have only played through Casual mode and for some reason, even though I have attained all 150 stars my Stats say I have only attained 146 stars (probably just a bug, but still annoying for the stats not to match).
NO SALE ACHIEVEMENT - HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT
NO SALE - 50 CUSTOMERS LEFT WITHOUT PAYING

This is a hidden achievement as far as I can tell (and also one of the easiest to get). On my achievements page for Dead Hungry Diner it only shows 10 images for achievements but then at the top says there are 11. On the Steam achievement page (when you click on achievements through the Store page) it shows all 11 achievements but there is no description on how to attain NO SALE.

After finding the description online, I looked at my stats and through one Casual play-through I had had 37 walkouts. This means that out of about 3,600 customers served I had also had 37 customers walk out.

To reach the required 50, I simply went into a random stage and let the lines pile up, get angry and leave. When the time ran out across the top (the timer going from the moon on the left to the sun on the right) I received the NO SALE achievement and now my stats said I had 58 walkouts.

I am not sure if fights breaking out counts toward a no-sale, but I think they do because I know on Casual mode my lines never piled up enough for customers to get angry enough to just leave.

This COULD easily be the 2nd or 3rd easiest achievement in the game to attain, but with it being "hidden", players who only try the game for a short while do not tend to find this one.

@Diana -- Thanks for the comment & I'm happy that you found the guide useful! Congrats to you on having almost 100%ed the game - wow! I know I have a few achievements left to go myself, especially "Full of Stars". I think I got burnt out playing it and went on to other games. I'll have to return to this one and just collect those 1,000 stars slowly, lol. And yes, I'm really not sure what devs think when they throw in "time-wasting" / grind achievements... they erk me (as well as many players). Good luck with the last one -- you're almost there! :yummy:

Thank you for the guide!!! I've achieved all the achievements except the "Full Of Stars" one where you have to accumulate 1000 stars. Dear gawwwwwd!!! Presently, I'm at 600 of 1000 stars. At 150 stars per game maximum ... one has to play the game 7 times (and that's IF they get 150 stars per game). Well, start the 7th game until the 1000 star mark has been reached. UGH!!!! This achievement is one of those that makes one ... uhhhhhh ... really dislike the game after a while. I enjoy the game, but 1000 stars??? I don't know what the devs were thinking with that achievement. Oh, well. Thanks, again, for the guide!!!

That's not a faster way. O__o. You just need to play through the game a certain number of times. The easiest way is to play the game multiple times through the casual difficulty as you can't gain more than 150 stars per game.

The waiter achievement is also straight forward and can be done in Endless mode games quite efficiently. The only reason i'd say do it in story mode is that you'll pick up stars along the way.

For the No Sale achievement you can actually get a lot of "no sales" quickly during the 5:3 level, Hair and Teeth. That level the werewolves randomly (or not so random) go rabid and attack any customer instantly near them.

Nice work :)

I think there is a faster way to get archivment "IT'S FULL OF STARS! ACHIEVEMENT".
Just start a new game and play first level you will archive 3 stars, remove save and whole process.

Now about "WAITER ACHIEVEMENTS" in the last level on the begining you have 9 werewolfs , take all orders, defence them and give them food take money (you don't need to take tips) restart level or wait for 9 ghosts take orders, serve food, take money and them restart :) Repeat.

I know there is not much but maybe somone will use it.:tradingcard:
