As I said before, I will be releasing each character individually from the 15th through till the 31st of December 2019. So here's what you need to know:

• One character each day!
  
• Character order is random to add to the fun!
  
• Each unreleased character will have a festive hint to help you guess what each day's character might be!
  
• The clue might hint the character, the theme of the outfit, or both!
  
• I update the guide before or around 12vish Australian Central Daylight Time (GMT+10:30), cuz I'm an aussie mate. So my release time for these outfits may not be on the day, so to speak, depending where you are.
  
• That does not mean we could have warned you about 9/11

Merry Christmas everyone!

If you aren't already familiar with cosmetic "glitching" there's this wonderfully short video by Noveva on how to do it, explained easily and clearly. In fact, this is the video I personally used when I first learnt about cosmetic glitching. Give it a watch if you haven't already! :D

I knew in a moment it must be Patriarch.
More rapid than husks that where eager to flame,
he roared, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Now, RIPJAW! now, COBRA! now, BLENDER and BLOODY!
On, SAVAGE! on BEAKER! on, YAZZA and FLUFFY!
To the top of the tower! to the top of the map!
Now charge my children! Their pants they will c***!"

As the ground rumbled and the rockets in flied,
I went a runith, and the lvl 5 f****** died.
Barrelling upon me, the Patriarch flew,
With a gun fulla rounds, and a scrake or two.

And then, in a laugh, I heard behind me
The Patriarch's gun, loaded and ready.
As I drew out my gun, and turned in a split,
Patriarch was right in front of me, "oh s***."

He was covered in metal, and hell was he p*****,
His clothes were all tarnished with a gun for a fist;
A bundle of tumors lined up his shoulder,
And he was fat as a Indiana Jones temple boulder.

His eyes -- how they squinted! His glasses where cracked!
His teeth looked like fangs, his body too jacked!
His tumors glowed green, his skin grey like stone
And the blood of his chin was as red as the zone;

The glow of his healers, fastened to his side,
And the clank of the metal from the cybernetics he applied.
He had a round face, and a odour so smelly,
That that got worse when he shot out a claw from his belly.

He had a claw for the other hand, that grabbed me in an instant,
And I sighed to myself as I saw my team run in the distance
A snarl of his teeth and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had everything to dread;

He spoke not a word, but revved up his rifle.
And filled me with bullets with no chance of survival.
And dropping my body aside on the floor,
He gave chase to my team to share it some more.

I dropped into spectator, and to my team I let them know,
"Careful, I think Patty does more damage on HoE?"
But before I disconnected, I left one last reply,
"GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL, BUT YOU'RE ALL GONNA DIE!"

"Leprechaun"

Okay, this is probably the single worst way to start my guide as this aint even all that festive. But I do as the random numbers generator says so here he is.
Honestly this was more of a "I couldn't help myself" moments because this is funny af, and 2 out of 3 of the cosmetics are Christmas themed so it counts right? Bonus points if you use a gold pot.




Hint Explained: No hint was given today as I uploaded the guide on this day, although it may be something along the lines of "A classic elf more interested in stealing then giving"

"Frosty The Flame Woman" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

Honestly this should be what the husks look like with all that fire, oh the irony. Regardless when I got this snowman head from a ticket I knew it would pair perfect with the boom ears from the weekly. I didn't have any specific theme in mind for Mrs Foster, but her original idea was boring af so thank you rng for this drop lol.



Hint Explained: "She makes the Tea and Cookies for Santa" References Mrs Claus. Except tea instead of milk to reference a British character. So who's a Mrs who's also British? Mrs Foster.

"King Of Canes"

Ahhh, the first outfit on the list with festive colours! And how much more festive can an outfit be decked out with 100% authentic Christmas Gear! Nothing incredibly special here, I just wanted to make good use of the new candy cane hat with the candy cane backpack.





Hint Explained: "Frohe Weihnachten! This characters origins is what inspired/created advent calendars!" This is German for Merry Christmas, and yes, advent calendars originated in Germany as far back as the early nineteenth century! So yeah, pretty big hints it was Strasser.

"The Human Tree" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

It's not Christmas without a Christmas tree! And that's basically it. The man's a tree, let him be a tree. This is literally just an excuse to make a tree outfit. My hint was more inspired lol. So lets say he really is a super powered Christmas tree who shoots baubles out of his hands at Dr Krampus eh? Now that's an outfit idea!




Hint Explained: "He he got hit by Festive Radiation. That's pretty fantastic." Yep that's 100% a reference to Fantastic 4's Human Torch. But instead of Cosmic Radiation he got hit with Festive Radiation, so he became a human tree, not a human torch. It being pretty "fantastic" is just to nail this point home.

"Santa Ops" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

You better watch out... You better watch out... YOU BETTER WATCH OUT.... YOU BETTER WATCH OUT! It looks like it's Christmas time again, and a certain evil festive dictator is on the naughty list... Time to deploy the SANTA OPS. While Santa sits in mission control, his highly trained soldiers will assassinate the one they call Krampus.



Hint Explained: "It's a silent night... Shhhhh No witnesses" That is 100% a reference to the video "Secret Santa" by Tomska. Closest thing to a 5 seconds research on Santa merc I could get, cuz Santa legit merked that kid.

"Jack Frost" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

Yeah, this outfit is a reference to "that" horror movie... Sorry it was the only festive horror movie that came to mind. But at least this outfit looks baller right? I don't mean to doot my own horn, but the motorcycle outfit really shines here to give the white it needs. And yes, it does require the console as the husk backpack conflicts with the infinity scarf.




Hint Explained: "Christmas Eve is often celebrated more than Christmas Day here, "Jacks on his way to be executed that very night"" In japan, apparently yeah, Christmas Eve is often more celebrated then Christmas itself? Oh and the second sentance is a quote from the movie, Jack Frost 1997.

"Chimney Jumper"

Think Santa can do it with his hip? He bets you 20 dosh and a spot on the loser list he still got it, and with Rudolf the red nosed bullet and his Slay and prey submachinegun he makes the zeds fly across the world. That was more layers to a joke then I can handle, but this is a more realistic bad ass Santa. After Jack Frost came into the snow yesterday, we need a little Joy to cool him down... heat him up cuz he's a snowman? Bad joke anyways.





Hint Explained: "Santa was always a Christian idea". Yeah, Santa originated in Western Christian culture. The more you know! Did you know he got his red from a Cocacola add and he was originally blue??? Yeah Alberts is a reverend so obvious connection.


Personal update note: Sorry for uploading this late, busy day, busy life. Things are starting to heat up with christmas coming round the corner so I may not update round 12 like I said I would, I got a life ugh. Hope yall enjoying my outfits so far, I think this guide already has more views then my first from last I checked? Not 100% sure I'm not exactly looking, the numbers high so I call that a win.

"Kill Krampus"

No I have not seen Kill Bill, but damn me if this slick yellow outfit didn't remind me of it. Just threw on some stuff that fit with that Japanese training room showdown (if that's even what it was) and boom. Kill Krampus. Don't @ me I love it.




Hint Explained: "Good thing David Carradine wont be playing Krampus" David Carradine played Bill in Kill Bill. Took me 3 seconds to google lol. Good thing he wont die twice eh?

"Hansa Claws"

Us mercs aren't the only ones dressing up for the festive holiday, our good boss friends are too. Mr Foster ran out of ideas tho, so he just copied Hans and hoped for the best! So yeah, this is mean to be Hans Volter: Christmas edition. Got the idea from the facepaint for foster being Replicated after Hans soooooooo...?




Hint Explained: "A festive Brit cosplays a festive Nazi" Exactly as it sounds, A festive Brit (Mr Foster) cosplaying a festive Nazi (Hans Volter). I guess it could have been Mrs Foster too, but I cant make it too obvious now can I? Thanks Nazgul in the comments for making a prediction, awesome to see people actually are trying to predict the future :D

"DJ Frosty" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

Not even kidding I've been wanting to feature an outfit with this mask as facepaint combo for a while, but figured I'd save it for Christmas because the body is a must. Touch it up with a backpack and some Reindeer horns and you got yourself one festive DJ.



Hint Explained: "Beats by Rudolph" A Reindeer DJ... Obviously hahaha. Only DJ is Skully, with the theme being a Reindeer.

"Defender of Christmas"

"One Christmas Husk"

He is literally a Christmas Husk. Ive used this outfit last year even for Christmas because we get a full husk loadout. The only reason I didn't use the white outfit for Tanaka for this is because Jägerhorn's "body shape" fits the husks better.... And the face paint just works. Technically speaking you can throw this set up on anyone with the right face paint and it will be good.





Personal Note: Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed the little poem I wrote, a KF2 parody of "Twas The Night Before Christmas" I'll move it to it's own section or something and give Santa a proper description soon. I think I want to leave it until the guide is over.

Hint Explained: "Whats the difference between a meat man and a meat woman?
Meatballs." Swedish meatball's are the best, and this is a parody of a joke about snow men and snow women. So the character is Swedish, and it's to do with Snowmen. Probably my favourite hint in this whole guide.

"Pink Pastry" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

Ngl this is the cutest outfit in the game, so of course I had to make it horrifying. Cookie mask... need I say more?




Hint Explained: "Réveillon is yummy, but not as yummy as a face full of cookies." This is Christmas Eve dinner. At around midnight, French families eat a special meal to celebrate the very beginning of Christmas Day. Ana is french, and we got a cookie outfit.

"Cookie Monster" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

Two horrifying cookies in a row? Complain to the RNG as I made this on the 15th. Besides, it's hard af to make cool outfits for a guy who cant change his armour out for something more workable. Regardless I tried my best, and I think I did a pretty neat job, another day another outfit, we're nearly at the end!



Hint Explained: "You're not singing the Alphabet! You're just teasing me!" Reference to that infamous video of the girl saying "you are cookie monster" to kermit while singing the abcs, so here you go, a cookie monster!

"The Night Before Christmas" (REQUIRES CONSOLE)

Little Rae is so excited for Santa to swing by and drop off some gifts! Maybe she will get an Ak? Maybe the head of a Fleshpound? Maybe even a $10 weapon dlc? I guess she will have to wait and see. Good night Rae, sweet dreams.




Hint Explained: "It's the loudest Christmas we've ever had, one we'll never forget!" A reference to a very hillbilly Christmas song. Rae herself is a proud hillbilly, so there's your answer. :)

"Rudolph the Cybernetic Reindeer"

Rudolph the Cybernetic Reindeer, He had a very shiny gun, and if ever you saw it, it would make you run. All of the other mercs, used to laugh and call him a disgrace. They never let poor Rudolph, rip the eye balls from the scrakes face.



Hint Explained: "Reindeer Upgrades" Only thing better then a zombie Reindeer? Robot Reindeer! That's an upgrade... And that means it's also DAR.
