Introduction
This guide will mainly apply to only NVIDIA users as AMD doesn't have a Low Latency Mode.
NVIDIA Control Panel
On the NVIDIA control panel go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settigns > 1. Select a program to customize (You might have to click ADD) > Halo: The Master Chief Collection (mcc-win64-shipping.exe)

Make sure to copy the settings I have in the above image!

Low Latency Mode = Ultra
Power Management Mode = Prefer Maximum Preformance
Preferred Refresh Rate (Your Monitor) = Highest Available

Click Apply then you can close the NVIDIA control panel and launch MCC!
MCC Video Settings
Run the game at Original graphics settings for the best performance on higher end systems! If you're running on lower end hardware you may need to run on Performance mode but this is known to cause rendering issues with players at long distances so I recommend just using Original graphics!

NOTE: If you're running the game with V-Sync on you won't notice the decrease in input latency. I've noticed myself when getting around 300fps I get the least amount of latency but everyone's results will vary!

Cloud, I top frag in most games on PC with a controller. I've beat Destiny 2 PC Trials of the Nine with a controller. Most MKB users can't aim for shit and have their sensitivities set way to fucking high. Plus controller gives me free aimbot thanks to aim assist.

Controller only outplays m and k when the auto aim is strong. like to see and controller whoop m and k on a arena shooter

Controller on Reach is objectively better. The auto aim is broken and if you don't see that then you're just being ignorant. The competitive tournament, which was all professional players, all opted to use controller over mouse and keyboard.

obviously a troll, computer with mouse and keyboard will always outperform any controller

controller outplays mouse 10/10 times? I beg to differ lol. I love playing against the controller guys

Im just gonna say, crossplay was a mistake since a controller outplays a mouse 10/10 times ngl

Also give me a source to the claim that low latency mode is bad

uhhh M_W its more like the other way around iirc; low latency mode is good UNTIL you are under heavy GPU load, which then it makes things worse because the GPU cannot process the frames in time.

Low latency mode is going to make no difference, or make problems worse, unless you are near or at 100% GPU usage.

The solution I found involves locating the MCC executable at "...steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Binaries\Win64\MCC-Win64-Shipping.exe, going to "Properties" and under the "Compatibility" tab, checking "disable fullscreen optimization." You may need to do this under "Change settings for all users" if it doesn't stick after exiting the game.

I went from taking twelve potshots at each grunt in a desperate attempt at a headshot to getting headshots with ease. No disabling v-sync required.

@Trash Boat I've only been using it for MCC and for me at least there hasn't been any increase in latency from what I can tell it feels lower.
