I'll skip how to connect Your radio with SmartPropoPlus, assuming that You already know how and You have Your controller connected.
If not, try to search on YouTube tutorial according to model of Your radio.

Here are some basic principials of SmartPropoPlus ONLY .

Two things You need:
- SmartPropoPlus (I will use SPP shortcut)
-latest vJoy driver

I assume that You have SPP installed and it's working properly

The latest vJoy driver is in 2.1.9 version (in the day of release of this tutorial) and its available here:

http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/index.php/download-a-install/download

Install it if You have earlier versions.

v2.1.9 have installed vJoyConf.exe app, which You'll use a bit later.

Depending of how many channels Your SPP recognise it is needed to set the number of buttons that the vJoy emulate minus 4
Number 4 represents each axis on both Your gimbals

In example :
If Your controller uses 12 channels You need to set 8 buttons to emulate.

If 10 channels then 6 buttons etc.




By default vJoy driver is set to emulate 32 buttons which can not be controlled in any way, and that generates a lot of unnecesary noise.

That noise can cause lag in game responding to gimbals movements
and greatly disturb switches usage.



-purple dots means, that the button is sending the signal

To set the number of buttons, open vJoyConf.exe from it's directory

or :



Enter the correct number of buttons in marked field



and apply the change



When the ammount of buttons is set properly, it's time to remap them.

Open SPP and in "INPUT" tab



click "MAP BUTTONS"



in "MAP BUTTONS" window, set the specific number for each active button starting from number 5
(1 to 4 are reserved for gimbals)
Those numbers coresponds to RC channels of Your controller



After that hit the "APPLY" button and that's it!




You should have properly set SmartPropoPlus for DRL Simulator and enjoy using "RESET" and "RESTART" assigned to radio switches
