Ik some guides have been made regarding functionalty for MP, but i wanted to create my own guide.

Getting SR2
So first u need SR2, But thats EXTREMELY simple. Just head to store page and Search "Saints Row 2" (no ") and buy it.
Getting GOTR.
Go to this site saintsrowmods.com and search Gentleman of the row and u will get it. Backstory was it was ez to get it from idolninjas website but it was shut down
Getting Player. me/Discord
Now the rest of this guide is text only, no images since im not gonna snip after snip after snip. Anyways, Player. me/Discord is a VOiP Cilent like TeamSpeak and Skype except u can organize ur communitys allowing ez arrangement to move ur friends and make servers, Go to Player.me and get it.
Doing Everything.
Get Gotr and install and put it in desktop or Windows FE and run it from there. you can also put mods inside it too. Then get player.me or discord (they are the same) and then Start sr2. Then run Player.me or Discord (Pro tip: friend ur friend on steam and vice versa.

There u go, now enjoy ur MP. One more thing: I launched a discord server for those who play MP on SR1 and SR2, And the discord is also a fan of gta mods. join early and get gud benefits (possibly gud benefits) Link: (Discord is officially shut down as a result of prolonged inactivity and the fact i forgot about it, and because we are 2 years later and the patch is still being worked, once the new multiplayer is out this guide will become obsolete and i will delete it)

THE patch, you know, to officially discontinue long dead gamespy support, to allow for workshop mods, to allow for dlcs, all the good shit from console
