Introduction

Complete all achievements except for the collectibles and One Percenter.

Step 1: Play on Badass Biker difficulty to prepare yourself for One Percenter difficulty. This will net you all story related achievements. During this step go for all the S graded related achievements. DO NOT collect the collectibles in this playthrough because you need to do it during the One Percenter difficulty. If you haven’t earned your headshots or all the attacks achievements such as 10 rage attacks on motorcycle continue playing until you.

Step 2: Play on One Percenter difficulty and collect all the cards and paint cans along the way.

Step 3: If for some reason you still have random achievements left over you can switch your difficulty to easy if you wish and complete the remaining tasks.
To Hell and Back
Complete all other achievements.
As with any platinum you must first obtain all other achievements within the game itself for this to be unlocked.
Gang Wars
Defeat 10 Devil's Hand enemies.
Story related and cannot be missed.
You will kill more than the amount of enemies needed for this during the first sequence of the game. The first sequence of the game will start you off behind a turret gun that explains to you that shooting an explosive will kill off a cluster of enemies instead of killing each enemy one by one. You will fail the mission if you fail to kill all the enemies or die starting you from the beginning of that checkpoint behind the gun.

Use Right Mouse Button behind the turret gun to take aim and and press Left Mouse Button to fire rounds at your enemies.
Master of Massacre
Defeat 500 Devil's Hand enemies.
This will take some time to earn as you need to kill 500 enemies as the description says. This will count all weapon and melee fighting you have done since they all count as defeating the enemy. You will earn this late in the game and if for some reason you don’t go to the Dead End board and replay levels until you you do achieve it. To check your progress with how many enemies you have defeated press Esc and go to statistics/progress and scroll through the pages.
Anger Management
Perform a Rage Attack on foot.
A rage attack is a gruesome melee attack out of anger that is done when you are fist fighting with your enemies and you have the option to press E to begin the rage attack. You will see this option above the enemies head at the appropriate time. Once in a rage attack you will be given multiple QTE's where you need to react quickly and after completion you will have gone through anger management and graduated with this achievement.
Road Rage
Perform 10 Rage Attacks on bike.
This is a really annoying achievement as they don't pop up often at all and if they do it's late in the game, however I found an easy way to achieve these road rage attacks on the bike. Once you have completed your initial playthrough or your one percenter and still haven't achieved this put the difficulty on easy and head to Caesar's mission on the quest board in the Dead End. You should be picking the second stage which is a green deuce in half (green truck). Playing through the first section of this stage should earn you a rage attack frequently.

The plan here is to shoot and kill your enemies on the bikes until you reach the save point which is where you begin with the QTE's. If you did manage to get a rage attack press Esc and reload from current mission putting you back to the beginning. If you didn't manage to earn one still restart from the current mission and you should earn one in the late second try or even early third attempt.
Hands On
Perform a kill with every type of melee weapon.
There are a total of 7 melee weapons and they are spread out throughout the game. Four of these were found in the strip club when fighting the thugs during Greasy Steve's sequence. These weapons are as follows.

  • Brass Knuckles
  • Knife
  • Monkey Wrench
  • Baseball bat
  • Police Baton
  • Metal Pipe
  • Hammer
  • Guitar Neck
  • Hatchet

It can be achieved without using some weapons.
Target Practice
Get 3 A Grades at the gun range.
This can be an annoying achievement to earn if you do not take your time aiming and not getting frustrated by looking at the time. When you are progressing through the game you will come upon Tyrell who will take you to the range in his warehouse. It goes from easy to hard starting with pistol, assault rifle, and lastly sub machine gun. This may take a few tries to earn just stay relaxed and learn each weapon system. Always aim for center mass as it will get you to progress your grades and try not to miss.

Holding Right Mouse Button will aim your weapon while pressing down Left Mouse Button will put a bullet down range. Also try not to put yourself on the side of the wall barriers as it may be difficult to see the entire range since the targets pop up all over and the camera view could lock on behind Jake's head not allowing you to see your sights.

Note: If you come to the sub machine gun and the time is counting down and you still don't believe you are going to earn an A grade for all 3 weapons press Esc quickly before the time runs out and you have to start the entire stage all over from the beginning.

Lead Heads
Kill 50 enemies with Headshots.
The goal here is to take your time aiming which is done by holding Right Mouse Button. As you cannot play the hardest difficulty from the beginning it is exceptionally easy to earn as some of the enemies don't even move or run straight towards you making it even easier. Some weapons are not powerful enough to kill enemies with one shot to the dome so purchase and upgrade your weapons constantly to ensure this always occurs.
Taking the Initiative
Perform a Dirty Fighting Technique attack.
A dirty fighting technique is when you used nearby objects to your advantage helping you defeat an enemy. The best chance at achieving this during the beginning of the game is after talking to Carlos while fighting the guy trying to save the girl which always earns you Mr. Nice Guy. After speaking to Carlos go across the street into the motel area and as soon as you enter the lot go to the left and there is a truck with a blue symbol that will allow this dirty fighting technique. While fighting with the _ass to protect to girl bring him in the direction of the truck and you will have the option to press R as you will see above his head doing so will bash his head against the back end of the truck earning you this achievement.

There are many locations you can earn this achievement throughout the game and the brewery is an excellent area as it gives you multiple chances at earning this achievement. Always be sure to change up your bike as the become faster making this easier. You can also buy the dirty fighting manual from the Army truck found in the Dead End to help you.
Wheelie Good
Perform an S Grade Wheelie.
Please refer to Wheelie God for detailed description and tips.
Get some Air
Perform an S Grade Jump.
To perform a S grade jump you need to jump a minimum distance of 200 ft. As you are unlocking new motorcycles be sure to change your bike as they do help with this achievement. Triple 6's mission on stage Tourist Guide to Fogwood is the best place to achieve this as it should happen naturally.
Slide it In
Perform an S Grade Powerslide.
Please refer to Slip and Slide for a detailed description and tips.
Wheelie God
Perform 10 S Grade Wheelies.
To perform a wheelie you need to hold down the accelerator at your preferred speed and bring the left analog stick backward towards your body thus lifting the front wheel of your motorcycle off the ground and into the air. The grade is given by the distanced traveled while performing the trick.

There are turns in every stage so as a suggestion do not go full throttle because it will be hard to steer through them, instead go at a smooth pace where you can control your motorcycle through each of the turns. A good stage to perform this trick is during Anvil airplane cemetery right after the opening sequence if finished. The distance needed to travel is about 1600 feet on one wheel.
Flying High
Jump a total of 1000 feet.
This is an accumulative achievement which will be earned not that far into the game providing you are going over as many jumps as possible while driving. Nothing special is needed here besides finding the jumps in the stages.
Slip and Slide
Perform 10 S Grade Powerslides.
To perform a powerslide you need to press and hold Space when riding the motorcycle. It does not count in all stages so you may perform a short one first before doing it completely. The grade is based of the distance traveled as you are powersliding; you will lose your grade if you hit a wall or vehicle this will restart you and you will have lost your progress with that particular slide. Do this 10x and you will have completed the goal to achieve this achievement.

A great place to do this besides without natural progression in the game is to play airplane cemetery in Anvils sequence. The powerslide is reached at about 600+ feet.
Lock and Load
Purchase 5 weapons.
This should come naturally during progression in that game. You can buy weapons at any of the Army trucks of Tyrell’s found at the Dead End and during some stages. You can collect money from defeating enemies or by selling the drugs you looted and selling it to the drug dealer in the Dead End. You have many weapons to choose from but in the beginning you're limited as you need to progress within the game to unlock newer and more powerful weapons. When purchasing from the Army van remember to click F1 to confirm your purchases. This achievement will pop once you exit the store front.
Mr. Nice Guy
Save a girl.
There are three girls that need to be saved throughout the course of the game. The first female companion is after talking to when looking for Anvil after beating up several guys at a trailer. After talking to Carlos about where Anvil might be you have the opportunity to do some free roaming finally and you come across a couple fighting outside the motel, beat the guy up and you will earn this achievement followed by an interested cut scene. You can earn Taking the Initiative at the same time so please refer to the achievement above for further detail and instructions.
Ladies Man
Save every girl being harassed.
There are 4 women that need to be saved for this achievement to unlock. Just kill or fight the men having the altercation with the women and this should rescue them from the pervert's.

The first female is found in Anvil's mission second stage after talking with Carlos about Anvil's location. To find this stage from the quest board it will be under Anvil's mission and the cigarette emblem.

The second female is found during Colt's mission 4th stage: Seven Hills Ranch. You will be defeating enemies through a house where you will come in contact with the male and female in a run giving you an easy clean head shot opportunity.

The third woman to rescue is in Greasy Steve's mission during the second stage when you have to travel to the lost city. First you need to defend a gas station from being blown up and then a gate will open up allowing you to run into the alley where. At the end of the alley to the left are 3 males surrounding the female.

The forth girl is found during King_Dick's mission (the Cross symbol on the mission board).
You will start in a Church Courtyard. Before you break in turn around and near the Big Iron Gate there will be one Fat guy and a women same as before shoot him in the head walk up to her and after Cut Scene trophy will unlock.
Bookworm
Purchase all the Manuals.
In order to purchase manuals you have to be in the Dead End. After killing Anvil you can head to the Dead End at any given time by pressing Esc go to load/exit and select head to dead end. Once here you will need to run to the right to Tyrell’s Army truck where one of his privates will be stationed waiting for you to purchase some goods. You enter the store by pressing E and once there click one time leading you to the manuals. There are 7 manuals you can purchase and they are.

Combat Manuals

$800.00 Crushing Combo - Technique that utilises heavy crushing moves to destroy tough enemies.

My Prescription
Sell one of every drug type.
For this achievement you are required to collect and sell each of the 8 types of drugs to Carlos. Carlos is found in the Dead End area of the game where you have a small area to free roam enabling you to buy and sell items. Drugs are visualized by a white looking wallet after you kill an enemy, just stand over the object and you will then pick up the assortment of drugs. Also you cannot attempt to achieve this achievement until after defeating Anvil where you don't have the Dead End available to you yet.

The 8 types of drugs are:
  • Gravity
  • Color Crunch
  • Frosties
  • Exhaust
  • Shinies
  • Studs
  • Desert Grains
  • Gogetters

Unfinished Business
Complete the opening sequence.
Story related and cannot be missed.

Below in the spoiler is a description of everything that is included to complete this sequence. If you do not wish to have the story spoiled for you than it would be suggested you just play along with the story and not read the spoiler. This sequence takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

The opening sequence consists of killing off enemies with the turret gun, getting into a fist fight that happens through a QTE (quick time event), and two sequences of driving the motorcycle. The sequence ends after Jake's brother Mikey gets his throat slit and Jake gets shot 3x by the MC (Motorcycle Club) Devil’s Hand. The achievement will pop up as you Jake taking off on his motorcycle to retaliate for what the MC has done to his brother.
The Bigger they Are...
Defeat Anvil.
Story related and cannot be missed.

You first catch a glimpse of Anvil when you first enter the brewery and then follow him throughout until you meet up with Mack who let him right by. You are then placed in a sidecar as Mack will be the one driving and you need to shoot as the enemies are trying to kill you without aiming for Anvil. You will drive off the road to the right into an old town where you will shoot and kill more enemies before seeing Anvil again. Once you finished killing off the enemies in town you finally will have the opportunity to begin killing Anvil. Aim with Right Mouse Button and shoot with Left Mouse Button however the camera angles and which you are shooting completely sucks but you should still be able to complete this task with time leftover as you are to kill Anvil within a certain amount of time. This won’t pop up once Anvil is dead, but when you are in the next cut scene with Mack.
Killing Cowboys
Defeat Colt.
Story related and cannot be missed.

This is a long quest that is taken by choosing Sheriff from the quest board. You go through multiple stages chasing down Colt when it seems he is always escaping to his next area. After about 8-10 stages in the airplane cemetery you finally catch up with him when he wants to defend himself by using a turret gun. Use your corners to shoot as it will block his shots and send him onto the ground leaving you only to kill the stragglers around the rest of the stage. Once you start walking up the aircraft ramp you will be tasked with killing a couple more enemies and there will be a cut scene where you kill Colt for Mikey.
Right Hook for Meathook
Defeat Meathook.
Story related and cannot be missed.

When you go to the quest board in the Dead End search for Meathook and continue on. This is a short sequence where you meet Farley and then are introduced into the boxing ring. Defeat 3 competitors to go up against Meathook and then you box him as well. There will be QTE during the fight so be aware of that and if you are struggling to hit him you can keep pressing R as it is normally used for parry an enemy allowing you to hit someone that is blocked. You could always walk backwards and have him approach you and press Space. About ¾ through the fight he will get a weapon and just use the same tactics and be sure to hold in Space if you are being hit to keep yourself from dying and having to restart.
Explosive Endings
Defeat Greasy Steve.
Story related and cannot be missed.

Defeating Greasy Steve is an easy task that takes you through a couple of sequences where you chase him down on the motorcycle. His last attempt of escape is to throw dynamite at Jake. When you have the chance to shoot back at him hit him as many times as possible without missing to prevent from restarting.
Carpenter
Defeat Triple 6.
Story related and cannot be missed.

Getting to Triple 6 is pretty easy as you defend Mack’s garage collect and deliver some packages and then follow him into the Saw mill. Once you meet up with him attack his goons first and make sure to stay away from him as he will come over and hit you in the back of the head making it an instant kill. Once the goons are dealt with you can begin attacking him pressing Space as you only have a melee weapon and then roll with Q and left analog and then hit Space again until the E displays above his head. After doing this he will manage to run downstairs and you will need to repeat the steps above before killing him off for good.
Holy Ghost
Defeat King_Dick.
Story related and cannot be missed.

Getting to King_Dick is a task itself going through casinos and a rooftop maze just to get into the church where he makes his stand against Jake. When King_Dick begins throwing dynamite at you run to the right and as far down as you can and you will be blocked by some church benches which becomes a good thing. _Dick will not be able to throw dynamite at you allowing you to easily take out the rest of the thugs making it easier to shoot _Dick afterwards. You go through a few QTE sequences and afterward you are sent back to the Dead End.
Pretty no More
Defeat Pretty Boy.
Story related and cannot be missed.

Pretty Boy is an misconception given by the game as he looks more like 2 face, however you are tasked to complete some races and do a job for Tyrell that leads up to Pretty Boy. You will be using your sidecar during this time and take damage very quickly so be aware of that and the amount of rounds in your weapon. Once you see Pretty Boy for the first time Mack tails him in order for you to catch up and then you attack with the weapon. This is pretty annoying just because there are a lot of turns and you have to shoot him before he escapes. Do your best to reload on turns and not on the straight away. Once you have shot him enough a cut scene will begin killing Pretty Boy off leaving you one more boss figure, Caesar.
Bloody Retribution
Defeat Caesar.
Story related and cannot be missed.

To get to Caesar you need to do a sequence/mission for Tyrell who gives you the power to go after Caesar. You will be taken to the Lost Valley Stadium where you need to fight your way through multiple enemies I would suggest taking an assault rifle but towards the end when you're in a small area that you get squeezed into look for a submachine gun because you’ll end up on the bike soon and that would be better than having a pistol. You then chase down Caesar avoiding being killed by his thugs and then come into a QTE where he then takes off again. Once you catch up to Caesar again you go into one last QTE before an ending cut scene.
Easy Rider
Complete the game on the Easy Rider Difficulty setting.
Story related and cannot be missed.

Survive through all the sequences of Anvil, Meathook, Colt, Greasy Steve, Triple 6, Pretty Boy, & Caesar. There are 37 missions within the game and you will not have to purchase an outrageous amount of weapons or even the strongest as this difficulty is simple and straightforward. It is still wise to aim for headshots as it will be a one shot kill unless they are wearing a mask and if that's the case aim for center mass. After the credits have been scrolled through you will earn the achievement.
Badass Biker
Complete the game on the Badass Biker Difficulty setting.
Story related and cannot be missed if played on this difficulty.

It would be wise to purchase a powerful assault rifle and the manuals to give you the upper hand in melee fights since you encounter plenty of those. Be sure to aim for the head when shooting Devil Hand members. As with aiming for the head be sure to take cover with Q to prevent from taking damage. The level of difficulty is between easy and moderate at this point because you still have enemies sticking their heads out without shooting or stand there not even looking at you. Again the achievement will pop after the credits have finished scrolling and if you played this level first you will also unlock the Easy Rider.
One Percenter
Complete the game on the One Percenter Difficulty setting.
Story related and cannot be missed if played on this difficulty. You cannot start on this difficulty!

Playing from Badass biker difficulty the only difference with this is that you will die quicker when being shot at. There are less save points as well so again take your time going through the stages and aim for headshots. This difficulty is not hard when you stay behind cover and don't go running out into the open areas. The assault rifle is the best weapon to use, however since you played the game already once or twice you have an idea when the sub machine gun could be better.

For Ladies Man there is actually four Girls to Save. You missed one out.

Forth Girl - Select King Dick -> Then the Cross symbol on the mission board
You will start in a Church Courtyard. Before you break in turn around and near the Big Iron Gate there will be one Fat guy and a women
