(J7) Dsp21 ve 1 yapıt ortağı tarafından hazırlandı
(Episode 1 Only!) Ever had trouble finding the secret you missed to get 100% on a certain level in Rise of The Triad 2013? Pretty sure all of us did! With this guide, I'll tell you the location of every single secret in the game, sectioned by levels, including text guidelines and images! There will be at least one image per secret, which means there will be a large amount of pictures in the guide.
Guide split into 4 parts due to images not loading correctly.

The HUNT Begins Here! Getting Started!

Welcome to my Secrets guide for Rise of The Triad (2013)! You'll be able to see where every single secret is located in order to achieve 100% on all levels.

To achieve 100% on a level it is required to:
  • Kill every single enemy
  • Collect all coins
  • Find all the secrets

Here's some terms you should get to know (you'll get used to them; don't worry!):

Killing every single enemy can be tricky sometimes. Be sure you don't go to the next checkpoint without clearing out the whole section. This may not seem like a problem, but it stopped me from getting 100% a few times! This guide is not about killing enemies, though; it's about finding secrets. You can select each level in the sections to the right at anytime.

This guide won't show you how to reach secret exits, because there is already a guide that will!

And last but not least, the guide will have tons of images and some of them will have me aiming towards the secret - so be sure to pay special attention to where I'm aiming!

Let The HUNT Begin!
E1L1: In the Thick of It
CHECKPOINT ONE: The Hunt Returns

SECRET 1: Just turn around when you start. Don't trust what it says! :)

SECRET 2: Press this pressure plate. It will open a door behind you with the secret.

SECRET 3: After getting the Rocket Launcher from SECRET 2, rocket-jump to the Gravitational Anomaly Disks (GADs) to find these silver coins!

SECRET 4: Look for this switch in the next area.

After activating the switch, this wall will move, revealing the secret!

SECRET 5: In the section with the God Hand and the spinblades, use the jump pad (hidden by the MP44) to get to that entrance. Easy to spot.

SECRET 6: Before going to the next checkpoint, there will be a bunch of guys waiting to be murdered. After clearing them out, jump on to these sandbags, then on to the wall. After reaching the balcony, the secret will be inside the little room with some silver coins.

CHECKPOINT TWO: Gadzooks

SECRET 7: Use the elevator to get on the Gravitational Anomaly Disks (GADs), then search for this vent and shoot it. There will be a Flamewall waiting for you!

SECRET 8: Exit SECRET 7 after shooting the red barrel, then search for these TNT boxes poorly covering a secret entrance.

SECRET 9: Enter the black steel doors. Then you can either go right (progress) or left (secret). Use this jump pad to land on to the secret area with two enemies.

SECRET 10: The hardest in E1L1. After the weird poster with the lady and a pig face, but before the garage doors (which open to reveal more enemies) and the exit for the secret level, look for this TNT box (may be hard to see in the screenshot).

SECRET 11: Just before the end of the level (you're almost done with this one!), there will be a door with a red barrel next to it. Shoot the barell to reveal the last secret (I already shot it. Sorry.)

You're good to go! Next Level!
E1L2: Burned and Amazed
CHECKPOINT ONE: The Corpseyard

SECRET 1: Look for this pressure plate.

It will open the door to the left of where you enter the area.

SECRET 2: After you pull the lever, and then enter the gate that was opened by doing so, there is a building that you can enter from here.

SECRET 3: Interact with this Triad statue, it will cause the wall it's facing to move. Now you have a tiny space to crawl under and get your silver coins!

CHECKPOINT TWO: Shooting Gallery

SECRET 4: This is actually one of the few MEGA secrets in the game, but it's pretty easy to find. Look for this pressure plate and simply press it. The door that's far away in the screenshot is now open.

CHECKPOINT THREE: What the Truck?!
...has no secrets! Just a good amount of enemies to kill. E1L2 complete! :D
E1L3: Too Much Room
CHECKPOINT ONE: The Barracks

SECRET 1: Do a rocket jump using a Rocket Laucher. In case you don't have any, there's one in the trash bin located in the bathroom of the same checkpoint. As an alternative and much easier way, simply jump on to the ledges as shown in the image. The secret has a Heat Seeker waiting for you.

SECRET 2: Just go through the hidden vent found in this room with two Monk Meals.

SECRET 3: Jump on to the metal box, then onto the shelves. The secret is only a small set of bronze coins on the upper floor.

SECRET 4: When you go outside searching for the Silver key, look for this switch. It opens a garage door close by, where you can find two Priest Porridges in case you need some health!

CHECKPOINT TWO: I Never Asked for This

SECRET 5: Go all the way through the second vent you enter. A Split Missile awaits!

SECRET 6: The tricky one of the level! Easy to miss. Search for the Dog Mode powerup - it's behind one of the trucks where I'm aiming.

Now backtrack a bit, to the part where there were fire jets, and head for the right alley. Just make sure to time it correctly when you go into it. You'll notice a small hole in the wall where you can enter only in Dog Mode. Enjoy your large coins and a Flamewall.

CHECKPOINT THREE: Think Up!

SECRET 7: Where you use the switch to lower the Bronze key's height, rocket jump to this area and enjoy your God mode for short amount of time!

Fun fact: This level had me getting 103 kills, and supposedly there are only 101 enemies in it. I still had to kill one or two guys, and already had the 100%.
One more level down! Make sure you're ready for E1L4!
E1L4: Spring Surprise
CHECKPOINT ONE: The Red Mile

SECRET 1: You'll notice that in this level, there are spiked wall traps that come out of the cell blocks. In this secret, wait for this wall to come out, then move into the broken wall to enter the secret area.

SECRET 2: Look for this Heat Seeker in one of the cell blocks. All you need to do is shoot the grid below it with any weapon (even a Pistol) and the weapon will drop to the floor below. Just pick it up to achieve the secret.

CHECKPOINT TWO: Don't Drop the Soap

SECRET 3: Right after you enter the huge area, if you look to your left you can see the secret behind metal bars. Problem is; reaching it! You need to progress in the level by getting the Silver key and going upstairs. Then search for another staircase that you can go either down (Secret) or up (Progression)!

SECRET 4: Easy! Just rocket-jump to the top of the room (which is right in the center of the whole area!)

SECRET 5: Last one. In the same area as SECRET 4, go into the room and look for a switch. Upon activation, you will unlock a door. To reach it, just go to the left of the switch, then turn left again. Beware of the spiked wall traps and the little bugs coming from the secret room!

CHECKPOINT THREE: Blade Rooms

No secrets here!

CHECKPOINT FOUR: Jumpin Jehosaphat

Neither here! E1L4 complete!

I find this to be one of the more annoying levels. It took me 28 minutes to complete with 100%, including taking screenshots for the guide. What's difficult about it is the huge checkpoint that is Don't Drop The Soap, and the amount of enemies in it. At least on Ludicrous! Yeah sure - quicksaves exist. But they take my score away!

On to the boss battle now. Are you up for the challenge?
E1L5: "General" Darian's Lair
CHECKPOINT ONE: Goin' Down

SECRET 1: Look for the switch between the lockers. It unlocks a door that you pass before the lockers, so backtrack just a little bit for a bronze coin and the overpowered Drunk Missile! (makes the boss battle a lot easier too, save it for Phase 2!)

CHECKPOINT TWO: Truth or Darian

SECRET 2: In the area with all the ammo and health to the left of where you enter the boss room, there is a switch, which is somewhat hard to see. Activate it to reveal the secret right by the switch. Another coin and another Drunk Missile. With all these, beating Darian has never been easier!

SECRET 3: Just shoot any type of rocket at the further wall. I advise doing this on Darian's Phase 1, which is the easiest to avoid being hit.

This also unlocks the Fresch achievement, looking very good, Frederik!

First episode is now complete! Are you ready for more secrets in Episode 2? Of course you are! :D

to anyone struggling with E1L3 - Secret 6, try crouching while picking up Dog Mode :boozehound: this worked for me and allowed me to go through the hole, although my character stayed crouched for the rest of the level

I'm the same way I love to use steam in game cause I don't have space on my desk to run a second computer monitor.
NABN00B 7 Ara 2014 @ 8:45
Yeah but I like to view guides/walkthrough using the in-game Steam Overlay browser instead of using Alt+Tab to switch to a web browser and then back into the game only to realise that it has frozen/crashed/started lagging.

I agree, Steam has been really slow lately for me, I advise opening the guide with an appropriate browser (I'm using Firefox and it's handling it fine). Sorry for the inconvenience, but I also don't like to split my work into parts, I like to keep it all in one place, although I will if it's really necessary :c

Thank you @=EGC=_Nite for your tip, I will add it to the guide :D:
NABN00B 7 Ara 2014 @ 4:13
You should consider dividing this guide into episodes because the amount of screenshots slows Steam overlay down. Great guide otherwise.
