I liked the part at the end. All the different characters, and the violence spiral that ensues from crossfire, zombies, and gangsters. Might be cool to see more of that kind of stuff!
I probably gained more power than necessary by back-tracking to the other rooms to get loot. Maybe you want to seal them off with one-way locked doors as well as tables?
A few comments on the rooms, not sure if it's intended but their difficulty varies quite a bit, and the campaign can be pretty easy if you just choose the easiest ones.
Easy rooms (in order from easiest):
- River with shop in the corner: you can just sneak through without having to fight at all.
- 2 comedians in prickly arena
- 3 aliens
- Shapeshifter swarm
Medium:
- Firespewer maze
- Prison
- Mobster shop (best way to win is probably to make them run out of bullets, but only after they're done fighting each other, unless you can sneak)
Hard:
- 3-Gorilla maze: You end up having to fight them all since there's one of them that just idles in place preventing you from sneaking.
- Robots (hard to dodge all the rockets and each of them have very high damage)
- Killer Plants: Impossible to get through without getting damaged as far as I know, unless you got something like Flamethrower or Molotovs
- You can just teleport to the exit instead of going through the rooms. Some ways to solve this:
a. Adding a disaster (could be Time Bombs with some chests at the end, for example)
b. The end of the level is an easily-completed quest instead of an Elevator, while the Elevator is somewhere else enclosed or at the start, which you teleport to after completing the quest (can be broken by GP-Yesss)
c. Make all parts of the level, including the chunks with Start and End Elevators have indoor tiles as floors, preventing teleportation (can be broken by Teleport-Happy)
That said, this is a fun, innovative campaign and a great final level too!
