Room 8 - Your Room
  • There is an achievement for finishing the game without using hints. Hints are accessed by opening the journal and clicking on the question mark buttons.
  • Turn around, open the top drawer of the bedside table and look at the book. (Librarian #1)
  • Open the bottom drawer and take the Room 8 key.
  • Look at both stacks of books on the bedside table. (Librarian #2 to #3)
  • Turn left, look at the books on the chair. (Librarian #4)
  • Zoom in on the painting above the chair. (Observer #1)
  • Look at the painting above the bed. (Observer #2)
  • Zoom in on the bed.
  • Look at the open book. (Librarian #5)
  • Read at the notes. (Reader #1)
  • Back out.
  • Walk forward.

  • Search the drawers on the right. Pick up a vodka bottle.
  • Walk to the desk.

  • Take the pencil on the desk.
  • Read the note on the desk. (Reader #2)

  • Turn left, zoom in on the lower shelf and look at the music box.

  • Open the left cupboard in the row of four in the middle.

  • Turn round and enter the door beside the piano.

  • Read the note on the small table below the telephone. (Reader #3)
  • Open the drawer in the small table. (Librarian #7)
  • Zoom in on the five photos above the Russian flag. (Observer #12 to #16)
  • Talk to Petrov.
  • Ask him about the Photo of the Russian Army.

  • Mention the music box and offer to fix it. Receive Music box key.
  • Exhaust all remaining dialogue.
  • Exit the room.

Hallway
  • Take the Damaged music box from the shelf.
  • Walk down the hall and exit through the double doors at the end.

Courtyard
  • There’s not much you can do here now, so walk down the hall and enter the door at the end.

Workshop
  • Take a file and screwdriver from the shelf on the left.
  • Turn around and take the loop of wire next to the locked door.
  • Zoom in on the box on the workbench. Take the clock.
  • The two drawers have nothing of interest.
  • Zoom in on the workbench.
  • Use the clock, then flip it over.
  • Use the screwdriver on it to remove the back panel.
  • Use the screwdriver on it once more to the receive cogwheels.
  • Back out and zoom in once more on the bench.
  • Use the damaged music box on the bench, then the music box key on the box.
  • Use the screwdriver on one of the four screws on the top panel and remove it.
  • Turn the two small wheels (on the lower right corner) so the comb moves down, left and up to the other undamaged cylinder.
  • Use the cogwheels on the broken cog in the middle (it’s next to the comb).
  • Flip the upper left switch left so the third gear moves to the middle.
  • Turn the windup key and the music box should play.

  • Take the fixed music box on the bench.
  • Return to Petrov.

Petrov
  • Tell him you’ve fixed the music box. Then offer him the vodka bottle and ask for room access once more.
  • With Petrov out of the way, walk forward.

  • Look at the collection of old world maps on the shelf. (Librarian #8)
  • Zoom in on the key rack. Take the Room 7 key and the Small key by the bottle.
  • Exit the room.

Hallway
  • Zoom in on the glass cabinet section of the cupboard. Use the small key to unlock it.
  • Look at the small stack of books. Get tracing paper.
  • Exit outside, open the room next to yours with the room 7 key.

    Find a way into what used to be Adriano Scopelli's room.

Room 7 - Scopelli's Room
  • Look down on the floor and zoom in on the gap. Pick up the Rusty key. It's just below the two diagonal pipes.
  • Back out.
  • Zoom in on the map of South America on the left and use the camera on it. Receive Photograph #1.
  • Back out and walk towards the freaky diagram.

  • Look at the books on the right next to the drawers. (Librarian #9)
  • Zoom in on the drawers.
  • Open the bottom two drawers and browse through both sets of sketches. (Observer #17 to #18)

    Examine every painting and picture in the boarding house.
  • Back out.
  • Zoom in on the diagram on the wall.
  • Use the camera. Receive Photograph #2.
  • Use the tracing paper, then the pencil on the diagram. Take the Used tracing paper.

  • Back out.
  • Turn left, walk towards the back of the room.

  • Read the piece of paper stuck on the cupboard. (Reader #4)
  • Turn around, zoom in on the paint cans and take the Hammer.
  • Exit and return to your room.

Room 8 - Your Room
  • Walk to the desk, and zoom in on the top shelf.
  • Push it left.
  • Use the hammer on the loose brick (it's towards the top).
  • Exit and return to Room 7.

Room 7 - Scopelli's Room
  • Zoom in map of South America and take the Unique inca figurine from hole.

  • Walk to the back of the room and enter the door.

  • Zoom in on the floor in the gap between the two bookcases on the right. It’s behind some candles and you can see blood on the floor if you look carefully.
  • Use the wire on the gap between the floorboards. Receive Small key.
  • Back out.
  • Turn around, walk behind desk

  • Use small key on the second drawer.
  • Pick up Fragments of charcoal in drawer.

  • Open the top drawer. Take the wrench.
  • Turn around, zoom in on the blackboard.
  • Use the camera. Receive Photograph #3.
  • Return to the workshop.

Workshop
  • Zoom in on the bench.
  • Place the broom down, then use the wire on it. Take the improvised hook.
  • Turn right, unlock the door with the rusty key.

  • Walk downstairs to the end.
  • Zoom in on the idol on the pedestal.
  • Use the camera. Receive Photograph #4.

  • Look down, zoom in on the heart in the bowl.

  • Walk forward until you see a vent and padlocked black gate on your right.
  • Zoom in on the black gate use the improvised hook to take the rope through the bars.
  • Zoom in on the vent.
  • Use the wrench to remove the screws.
  • Attach the rope to the vent.
  • Back out.
  • Turn around, zoom in on hose reel.
  • Look on the ground and pick up one end of the rope.
  • Use one end of the rope and the improvised hook on the hose reel
  • Back out.

  • Walk towards the wooden bench with the records and place down the gramophone.
  • Wind the gramophone.

  • Walk back, zoom in on the hose reel.
  • Turn the hose reel to pull out vent.
  • Back out.
  • Turn around, zoom in on vent and enter.

  • Pick up Russian medals from the Great War from behind some vertical planks.

  • Note the box 4: A417CC11.H4B
  • Return to room 7.

Room 7 - Scopelli's Room
  • Enter the study.
  • Walk forward towards the bookshelves at the back.
  • There are a lot of artifacts to inspect here, but I don’t think any of it counts towards achievements.
  • Zoom in on the shelf with three books placed spaced apart.
  • The puzzle solution is: RL M MR. Wait for the small figure to move and books reset between each space.
  • Zoom on the hidden compartment.
  • Before solving the lockbox, look at the books on the back right. (Librarian #10)
  • Read the book on the back left. (Reader #6)
  • Solve the lockbox. The answer is “H4B”.
  • Pick up the Stone with symbols.

    Find the artifact which Adriano Scopelli mentions in his letters.

Hallucination
  • Keep following the linear path and up the stairs at the end.

Chapter End
  • We’re almost done with this chapter.
  • Drop a save now in case you missed something for Library and Reader.
  • Return to your room.
  • Walk forwards, and inspect your suitcase on the floor to pack your things. Receive Suitcase.
  • Return to the room Petrov was in and exit out the front door.

  • You start facing your horse.
  • Turn left, pick up shell #1 on the ground. (image)
  • Turn around, walk deeper into the forest twice.

  • Turn left, facing the locked wooden shed.
  • Look down, pick up shell #2 on the ground directly in front of you. (image)
  • Turn around, walk deeper into the forest twice more. You’ve reached base camp.

  • Turn left, face steps leading into the wooden cabin.
  • Pick up shell #3 on top step. (image)
  • Look left, pick up revolver left of the steps. (image)
  • Turn right, walk deeper into the forest twice to the campfire.

  • Zoom in on the area right of the kettle.
  • Pick up the matches on the floor.
  • Walk forward once more towards the orange pot.

  • Right of the artifacts at the base of the tree is shell #4. (image)
  • Turn right, walk forward once.
  • Turn right, walk forward once. You should be one step away from going full circle back to the wooden cabin.

  • Turn right, pick up shell #5 on the ground. (image)

  • Look around, walk towards the expedition map.

  • Answer the radio. Exhaust all the dialogue.

  • Turn around and look for a Waterfall stone on the tree stump in the middle.
  • Walk towards the bloodstain and hole on the wall.

  • Read through all the pages of the book on the far right on the top shelf. (Reader #8)
  • Pick up the Breath of the Mountain stone and Darkness stone on the floor.
  • Back out.
  • Turn left, take the Claw hammer on the shelf next to the kettle.
  • Read the note on the table. (Reader #9)
  • Walk to the back of the room.

  • Pick up the Ritual artifact on the floor left of the doorway.
  • Proceed through the doorway to the back room.

  • Look left, pick up the Aboriginal vase on the floor.
  • Walk forward.

  • Zoom in on the hanging basket.
  • Take the Lantern.
  • Back out.
  • Pick up A Trowel from the floor.
  • Zoom in on the newspaper clippings nailed to the wall.
  • There are two you can read. (Reader #10 to #11)
  • Back out.
  • Turn around and use the claw hammer on the barred up windows. Receive a Wooden plank.
  • Return to the first room.

  • Talk to Laura on the radio again and exhaust the new dialogue options.
  • Zoom in on the dreamcatcher and use the claw hammer on the glass bulb to receive the Condor feather.
  • Exit the cabin.

Woods
  • Go back to the locked shed we passed earlier.
  • Zoom in on the barred up window and use the Lantern on it.
  • Return to the cabin and talk to Laura again.
  • And back to the shed again.
  • Face it and walk around it on the right.
  • Remove the boarded up panels with the claw hammer.
  • Climb inside.

Shed
  • Read through the book on the table where the lantern is. (Librarian #13; Reader #12)

    Read all books and notes.
  • Beside the lantern is a backpack on the floor. Inside the side pocket is a key.
  • Open the wooden box sitting with the other wooden crates and take the Ancestral cylinder.

    Find the device mentioned by Dr. Laura Garmendia.
  • Exit the shed and return to the cabin.
Patagonian Woods - Expedition Base II
Cabin
  • Report to Laura on the radio.
  • Enter the back room. Hear a noise.
  • Return to the front room and try to exit the cabin.

  • From the front door, look where the crate we used to block the door was and pick up the shovel against the wall.
  • Walk to the radio and use the shovel on the trapdoor below the dreamcatcher.
  • Head down.

  • It’s a bit dark under here. (video - YouTube makes it even darker lol)
  • From where you start, pick up the Light Stone.
  • Turn right, move towards the light seeping through the floorboards.
  • Turn left, shift the crate aside and take the Hallucinogenic mushrooms that were behind it.
  • Turn around, pick up the Igneous stone by the tree trunk.
  • Continue in the direction of the light.
  • Use the Wooden plank on the steel pan in front of you to push it further back.
  • Turn left, cut the roots with the trowel. Receive Acach root.
  • Turn around, pick up the Pachamama stone.
  • Move back the way we came once.
  • Facing the trunk, move left of it.
  • Take the Sticks.
  • Return to the cabin.

  • Go to the back room.
  • Use the Wooden plank on the gap in the window to knock the red fruits into the pan.
  • Return under the cabin.
  • Follow the lights twice.
  • Use the Wooden plank once more on the pan to drag it towards you.
  • Pick up the Red fruits from the pan.
  • Return to the cabin.

  • Move to the doorway before the second room.
  • Turn left and zoom in on the stove.
  • Place the Aboriginal vase on top, and the Ritual artifact inside.
  • Add the Condor feather, Hallucinogenic mushrooms, Acach root and Red fruits to the vase.
  • Add the Pachamama stone and Breath of the Mountain stone to the artifact.
  • Place the sticks in the opening below.
  • Light the sticks with matches.

    Get rid of the creature.
  • With the monster gone, climb back under the cabin, and twice in the other direction (away from the lights) to return outside.

Woods
  • Turn left, walk towards and past campfire.
  • Zoom in on the orange pot (it’s turned on its side now).
  • Pick up Ritual necklace inside.

  • Return inside the cabin (you’ll need to enter from underneath again).

Cabin
  • Head to the back room and zoom in on the trunk.
  • Open it and remove all the junk covering it.
  • Turn the knobs like so, insert the key and lift the handle to open it.

  • Take the ancient key.

    Find and protect the valuable object mentioned by Eneko.

Labyrinth
  • We’re in a maze of sorts of now.
  • Go forward once.
  • Look left to see three symbols. We need to go through the paths with those symbols in that order.
  • So go through the only arch with the first symbol.
  • Next area doesn’t have the symbol we need, so go back the way we came.
  • In a new area now, one of the arches (left) has the second symbol. Proceed down that one.
  • Finally, go through the arch (middle) with the third symbol.

Ending
  • Back in reality, it’s time we leave.
  • Exit the cabin from under it.
  • Go straight three times to the river.
  • Examine the canoe for the ending. Final achievements unlock when we're sent back to the main menu.
