Oh yeah, docking without mods is tight! Well done!

I flew it up in 5 pieces and docked them all together yeah. I don't have any docking mods either so had to learn the process the hard way. The idea is to use it mainly as a refueling station with its own mining/refinery drone capable of getting to the surface and back. I'm also planning on leaving it natively thrust-capable in case I need it more at Minus/Eve or wherever later on. I don't think the current solar panels are going to handle it any further than Duna though, although if it comes to that I suppose I could always switch some of the current modules over. That's the advantage of shipping it up in several modular pieces I guess.

Impressive stuff. Did you fly all the modules and dock them yourself?
