The rarer/better skins you have the more your brain will concentrate on staying alive with them.
Both your own and skins picked up from the ground work.
Another way is to have your parents look while you play, if you're a failure irl at least show them you're good at the game.

In the end, pay Valve for skins, maybe they will release HL3 and don't let down your parents, they care for you :D
