Introduction
Come on in if you have problems solving any of the puzzles in Imbroglio. This guide provides
  • an embedded video walkthrough with time stamps, and
  • spoiler-hidden hints and screenshots of intermediate steps
for every puzzle in each puzzle world. Choose the world you're interested in with the index on the right and you will find time-stamped YouTube links for the entire world and for separate puzzles as well as spoiler-hidden hints and screenshots of intermediate steps. As regards these screenshots, it should be noted that I tried to choose steps significant not only in terms of what has been accomplished so far but also in terms of what should be done next.

I am aware that there may be more efficient ways to solve some of the puzzles. Also, the steps given for some of the puzzles differ from the video solution because I found an easier way to get to the key after completing the video.

Feel free to comment about anything you may find noteworthy especially if some information is incorrect or a link does not work. I'd be happy to hear from you :)

FINALLY, this is still work in progress because I still need to add hints to most puzzles. I just wanted to throw this out there already for the time stamps that I cannot really provide on the YouTube page.

Hint:Ask yourself whether the cubes can be positioned on the platforms in any order.

Hint:There is one platform than must be served first with a cube. To be able to maneuver the remaining two cubes to the other two platforms and to be able to access the key you have to position them before activating the first platform.

Hint:The cube on the left side has to go on the right platform, and the cube on the right side has to go on the left platform. But the block cannot be moved towards the entrance of the puzzle.

Hint:Difficult to give a proper hint here. Obviously two cubes have to go on the bottom platforms first. Work your way up from there.

Hint:There is plenty of space to move blocks into. In order to get to the key you need to be able to drag a cube onto one of the platforms while the other platform is already activated with a cube.

Hint:To get the cube on the platform you have to get the blocks out of the way first. One block should be simple to "remove", the other two require a lot block/cube shuffling

Hint:Obviously you have to use the two block pillar to move the cube to the platform. Just make sure that you position the single cube properly to be able to drag and push the cube where you want it.

Hint:In order to reach the key you need a single block and a two block column each on the lower level and on the upper level. Use what you have learned in the other puzzles of world 3 to get there.

Hint:Seriously? If you've made it this far you shouldn't need a hint here. Just make sure not to step in the spikes :)

Hint:You will have to cross the trap on the right side at least once if you want to solve this puzzle.

Hint:With this one you can actually work your way backwards. Figure out what is the last step required to get the cube on the platform and ask yourself which specific steps are necessary before that. Note that the access to the platform is very limited which significantly reduces your options.

I mention in the video that this puzzle is tedious. In fact it isn't really ... it's just that I had not yet found the simple way to significantly reduce steps in this puzzle while keeping the same general approach. Sorry for that!
Hint:There are only two ways to get the cube on the platform. You should choose the shorter one. ;)

Hint:It is a long way to the platform for the cube. But at least there is only one possible way. You just need a single block and a column of two blocks at the bottom to steer the cube ... and lots of moving these blocks around.

Hint:Difficult to give a hint here given that I think there are many possible approaches top this one. But the one thing you will have to do in all approaches is to get a second cube close to the back wall so that you can get two colums of blocks.

Hint:Right from the start there is only one direction it makes sense to move the cube in. Figure it out.

Hint:When I first tried to solve this puzzle I didn't notice that there is a trap on the far left side. Once I saw that the puzzle was no longer impossible to solve. ;)
