The video starts after getting the dagger and falling down because from this point is when you become vulnerable. Follow my lead as shown in the video and I assure you that no ugly king kong lizard can lay a finger on you.

The only way to avoid being hit by the tentacle in the beginning is to run past it before it can fully come out

That first tentacle arm WILL hit you! Tried this like 8 times and was hit every single time.
