Beta Infection Music Restored

Опис
This addon restores the unused(?) beta infection music by replacing "glimpse" music heard throughout L4D2 campaigns. Credits to Valve for original files.

INSTALLATION
  • Go to Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop and copy the file 1905255738.vpk and paste it to the main folders (where all the dlcs and the left4dead2 folder are located).
  • Use either GCFScape[nemesis.thewavelength.net] or Crowbar to unpack the vpk to the Left 4 Dead 2 (not left4dead2) folder.
  • If you did everything correctly you should have a new folder called infection_music alongside with the dlc and left4dead2 folders.

ye this goes unused., it would play if you saw mob of infected run past the playable area for tension or atmosphere and this would play (credits for cuba cause i didnt know that lol)

Why did valve even remove this, the left 4 dead 2 E3 Beta is much better and more scarier than the final product ...

Hmm it's either very rare or your memory (probably) serves you incorrectly.. The music is only referenced in the global music script with 1.0 volume while most quiet ambient music play at 0.6 and 0.8. What does that mean? It'd be total ear rape if it ever plays (I tested it before)!
