Hatred Scale: Enemies
By wamcrash999
After finishing the game on [November 2nd, 2019], I have made this guide to express a scale of hatred towards every enemy in the game. Some will be higher than others, some will be lower than others and is completely biased based on my experience. This guide also gives some insightful info on the enemies as well.

I ACTUALLY ENJOY THIS GAME, THIS IS MEANT TO BE A COMICAL GUIDE, I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE GAME :)
This might be a spoiler guide as well, so if you haven't seen all the enemies than I suggest not going further until you have.

Blue Slime

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 1

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • ...to be honest I don't even hate him but I don't want to put 0 on the scale cause he's still an enemy

Other: I think me and blue slime could of been friends if he never got in my way all the time.
Green Slime

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 2

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Literally the poison version of Blue Slime
Red Slime

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 3

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Similar to the previous slimes, except this one explodes upon death

Other: Rating would be higher but I have to give credit where it's due, killing these guys can hurt/kill other enemies in the range of their explosion.

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • The giant version of the Blue Slime

Skeleton Sheriff

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 4

Explanation behind the Rating:

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 1

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Only takes damage from shotguns...

Other: He looks cool, but you literally only see him in the last dungeon.
Legion of Bone

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 3

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Explodes into a bunch of projectiles (orbs)
  • Orbs turn into regular skeletons
  • Having more than one explode on screen will fill your screen with way too many skeletons
Restless Ghost

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 2

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Kinda just moves where it wants to, doesn't seem to care about the player.

Other: Ghosts can only be killed by the banjo.

  • Unlike the Restless Ghost, this one tracks you instead.

  • Basically the Cave Bat but fatter and slower.
Alien Shade

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 8

  • Invisible most of the time, appears when he throws a knife at you

  • Leaves bombs at their location and runs away from them.
  • Faster than Sonic
  • More unpredictable than the Turbo Crab
  • Having multiple on screen makes the battleground a live earthquake

Other: I never died by these guys, but they are so annoying and take me long to kill them...
Alien Summoner

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 4

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Shoots projectiles (orbs) at you frequently
  • Slowly makes its way towards you
  • Orbs turn into skeletons
  • Have multiple present means more annoying skeletons on the battlefield
The Bone Warden

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 7

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Like the Alien Summoner, except this one fires 3 orbs instead of one.
  • Fires a bit quicker than the Alien Summoner
  • Can literally just fill your screen with 50 skeletons in 20 seconds.

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 1

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Giant version of Alien Shade
  • Throws multiple knifes at once
  • Invisible most of the time like Alien Shade

Other: For me, this boss was the easiest thing I ever killed in this game. I honestly don't know why but the alien shades are harder than this guy.
Chief Engineer Kevak

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 4

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Has 4 limbs, one with a sword and one with a shield, and two free claws
  • Only vulnerable when his mouth is open
  • Shoots an orb out his mouth which creates a skeleton
  • Shield can block any damage upon impact

Other: Basically if you combined Lieutenant Torovas and an Armored Skeleton together then spice it up with a small drop of Alien Summoner.
Captain Davillius

Hatred Scale [1 - 10]: 10

Explanation behind the Rating:
  • Starts out with a glass around him which has to be broken by the banjo
  • Once his glass barrier is broken, he starts using his laser eye ability.
  • The laser does immense damage upon contact on the player.
  • Summons minions frequently (minion choices: Beetles, Armored Skeletons, Red Slimes, Poison Worms, Turbo Crabs, Occultists, and Malicious Ghosts)
  • Around half health, he starts to fire the lazer more frequently and summon more minions at a time
  • Near 3/4ths of his health depleted, he will just rapid spam the lazer at that point almost.
  • Only vulnerable when his mouth is open
  • Lazer lasts for about two seconds (just an estimate)

Other: As you can see from all the bullet points, he clearly deserves 10 on the Hatred scale >:(

On my list Chief Engineer Kevak would end up as most annoying because of wonky patterns, weird timings, blocking damage and lack of place to move around. Ugh, was close to giving up on the game honestly.

The last boss I've beaten on 2nd or 3rd attempt - fairly easy when you pick up all of the items and upgrades prior to that.

The roaches actually have a chance to outright ignore damage. A few of them might even survive an explosion or worse.

@Lazytribe, Thanks for the corrections and I screencapped your messages to put on the guide.

I like how you did this. but there are a few corrections/insights

Captain Davillius - the glass can be broken by anything not just the banjo

Chief Engineer Kevak - the sword also blocks stuff, just like the shield

Doctor Durastin - originally you could stun lock this boss but that was fixed by the dev. So it may not be as easy anymore.

Skeleton Sheriff - he doesn't use a shotgun he uses a pistol.

Lord of the Land - while he can block shots with his body. The explosive radius of the dynamite will still hurt him as long as it is close enough to the tail.

Roach - the reason they survive is because they are so small you are hitting around the bugs instead of the bug like the other creatures. At least that is the intent of your shots not killing it when it looks like you hit it. That's the lore behind the creature as far as I understand it.
