first you need the item name and code, which you can find-by typing "LIST" into the terminal, this will bring up a large list of items with there specific key codes,

remember or write down the specific items you need, such as keys, medipacks, ammunition, or anything else you require,

after you have the items name-and code you are looking for, type query, the item name including-any underscores that was shown, and the code number, then press enter, after a short time the terminal will tell you what zone the item is in,

The terminal will then display text showing the zone number your item can be located in,
if you are in the same zone you can ping the item by typing PING the item name and number,

after you have found out the zone number your item is located in, you may skip every other zone making your chances of survival much higher,

If you have explored the map already, you can check your map for the zone number your item is located in,

Also type in LIST KEY to find only the keys.
this may work with other items also.

Useful Filters

This is a list of useful filters that can come in handy

To list all items in a specific zone
LIST ZONE (Number)
Example: LIST ZONE 11

To list all items of a specific type
LIST (ITEM)
Example: LIST MEDIPACK

This command is a way to filter objects to just a single zone.

e.g

LIST ZONE_48 LOCKER

will show a list of all lockers in ZONE_48.

You can add 'LOCKERS' 'BOX' 'ID' to the end of the command to show those objects.

you can combine key terms by typing LIST (item) (zone number). It doesn't seem to work if you put the zone number first though.

Looks like when you write LIST, each page after the one with the doors seems to be in order of zone closest to you (Related to the starting point)

i feel like the video forgot to mention something very helpful, which is like cloudyman12 said below.
typing LIST followed by a keyword of an item will help filter the listed items of that type
for example: typing LIST AMMO will show all the ammopacks available so its easier to try the codes out.

Remember to use QUERY to figure out which zone your item is in, the PING from the same zone's computer.

To find the keys specifically type in LIST KEY and it shows what 2 keys are in the expedition. You have a 50/50 chance on which one you need :D
