Another solution which is kind of weird but sort of works(?):

Step 0: Install Special K, this is a swiss army knife of game stuff to help workaround a few game issues. Shoutout to Ryuto Setsujin for pointing this out to me.
Step 1: Add Steam.dll to your game directory in Zuma Deluxe, otherwise it'll boot up saying "Failed to locate Steam.dll" or whatever
Step 2: In Zuma.exe's boot options, type in -32. To do this, go to here;

Zuma.exe >> Right-click >> Properties >> Replace "Zuma.exe" in the white rectangle with "Zuma.exe -32" WITHOUT QUOTATION MARKS

Game should now work!!

Not working on Mac :/ Could anyone fix it?

I have found that many of the errors for this companies games is the fact that steam doesn't shut down all the windows in the background and I found that if I go to the task manager and manually shut them down this allows these games to work. Kind of if steam gets lost.
