Overview
You may have noticed many diamond shaped floating objects around Mars as you explore, that display the message "Requires Override Frequency". They look like this and there are 40 of them hidden around the map.

You will need to finish the Warmind campaign before you can start opening them, and then complete a world quest called Nascent Dawn 1/5 given to you by Ana Bray. After you have completed three patrols on Mars and looted a lost sector like required, you will have 4 Resonant Stems which you can combine in your inventory to make an Override Frequency, which will allow you to open one specific Sleeper Node (The Diamond Shaped thingies) located at one of 40 places around mars.

You can obtain more Resonate Stems by doing the following:
  • Vanguard Patrols
  • Lost Sectors
  • High-Value Targets
  • Public Events
  • Completed Challenges

The fastest way to get them is to just re-run a lost sector over and over, but this gets boring very fast, so I suggest just doing patrol missions as they are almost as fast and far less repetitive.

Once you get an Override Frequency, you will see it has a name like CV.NAV/RUN.()Dynamo.Approach.Arch (For some reason steam turns it into a link but ignore that).

The CV.NAV/RUN.() part can be ignored as it is meaningless. The second part however, for example Dynamo.Approach.Arch, gives you a clue as to where the exact Sleeper Node it will unlock is located. The first two parts, in this case Dynamo and Approach tell you the rough area of the map it can be found. The final world, in this example Arch is the final clue as to where it is once you are at the right area of the map.

The first part of each name corresponds to an area of the map as follows:

  • Aurora = Aurora Breach
  • Descent = Olympus Descent
  • Drift = Glacial Drift
  • Dynamo.Approach = Dynamo Approach
  • Dynamo = Alton Dynamo
  • Futurescape = Braytech Futurescape
  • Mindlab = Mindlab: Rasputin

Doing this 40+ times over takes a very long time however, so this guide is for people who don't want to spend hours figuring out where each one is located.

The reward for all 40 is just the Emblem. Unless they added something recently then I would stand to be corrected.
