How do I run the Saves Files?

how do you save the game normaly, wont let me do it in the pause menu

I do this, but I do it a lot more frequently. For example, every Tunnel in Necrum Mines, and every other Annex in Bonewerkz, as they're significantly shorter. Also, it's a 100% playthough
