How to turn off 30FPS cap.
By Kimul
Hi!
If you are annoyed because 30FPS limit cap in WRC 4 here is solution.
First you need to do is disable V-Sync in Launcher settings (in section: Graphic).
Now game runs smoothly, but screen tearing is irritating.

All you need to do is force turn on V-Sync in your graphic card driver settings.

Tested on Nvidia GeForce GTX660Ti and lasted drivers - works perfect!

I have just bought this game (£2.49 - wow). Initially I struggled with poor graphics. It is amazing how 30fps looks so dreadful when you are used to a smooth 60. Anyway, I followed these instructions and the game looks, and plays, really great.
Thank you for taking the trouble to publish these instructions.

I already turn off v-sync.
However after some more searching, the problem was in the intel graphic driver, there is v-sync option available (use app setting / driver settings) and mine was the first one. Changed it to driver settings and your guide works, thanks mate.
now force v-sync works and got 60fps cap :steamhappy:

btw, maybe you could add up this to your guides
useful for those who use mobile intel+nvidia setup

Hi I'm sorry to bump this but, I already force vsync using nvidia control panel but still the fps isn't capped to 60. then the tearing is terrible. I use 840M, previously this didn't happen.
any suggestion ?

Awesome! Just awesome! It`s kinda tricky to find these settings in the nvidia menu, but the result is amazing! Thanks a lot!

Turn off AA or set it to 2x. Even on my new GTX970 there are frame rate drops on AA4x. Thiis game has terrible engine. If you want lock FPS check program NVINSPECTOR and lock to 60.

yeah ... no adaptive option on 860m - either force on or off. I am now plaing with force on + triple buffering and anti-aliasing on x4 to slow down the frame rate and keep it under 60 to reduce tearing. I get about 40-45fps and very little (hardly noticeable) tearing.

You did something wrong. Check if you have 'force on' v-sync, not adaptative or something else

GTX 860m

I tried this - and I get like 600fps in the menu and 120fps in game - but bad screen tearing. Shouldn't it be capped at 60fps? Please help.
