Description

The time has come.  After cutting through who knows how many drones, we have arrived at the final battle.  All COs are present on the field, Mega Metals are everywhere, and victory is in sight.  The challenges are fairly simple, so long as you don't recklessly attack one of the Mega Metals.

The map is huge and different from other ones.  There are basically 3 lanes, each with a pair of Mega Metals in it, leading to an enemy base with another Mega Metal.  You will find some production points now and there, but the units you will need will depend on the commander you've picked.  As I chose Wolfram, which you will understand why in the last 2 turns of the fight, make sure to play to your strength.

If you pick one of the COs with some offensive power, you can probably win this through rout, but this is definitely a mission where taking the HQ can be easier since you can just force your way down the middle and set up a defensive line the enemy cannot easily pierce.  I imagine Ragnar could really hammer the Mega Metals with his own CO traits while someone like Nathan would live more on the edge with his convoy of Metals.

Overall, I enjoyed the game and am definitely willing to give a 3rd one a play.  If that time comes, I hope they give a little more time to the indirect units so they don't suffer as much as they kind of do here.  The Buster Mecha was king, and hopefully we get something along the lines of an indirect air unit since the Viper crippled them way too badly.
