Visarend - Kustwacht (coastguard) vessel of the netherlands coastguard.

The Visarend, together with its sister ship the Zeearend are two cutters of the dutch coast guard. They patrol waters around the Netherlands and her territories.

They are mainly used for law enforcement and search and rescue.

They have a total length of 42 meters however my Stormworks version has a rough scale of 1:1.5 so my model is smaller to the real one.

My model is based upon these vessels but not a replica.





The vessel has no pre-switched-off breakers, the generator will auto-start when the vessel is spawned. You only need to hop in, increase throttle in the bridge and press 2 when on the helm to start the main engines.

• The throttles for each engine located in the engine room are updated by the main throttle in the bridge. When individual throttles are updated in the engine room the main throttle will not automatically update.
  [*It is not advised to turn off active weight balancing on the breaker box located in the engine room, this will result in instant capsizing of the vessel.
  
• the emergency brake/reverse turns the engine off using an abrupt change from 1:1 tot 1:-1, this causes the sip to shut off if it was running however if you restart while this option is still enabled the ship will go full power backward which will capsize the vessel
