Shields & Grabs Mod

Beskrivning
Some saw it as an impossibility. Some saw it as inevitable. SHIELDS AND GRABS ARE IN!

Just use this buddy, (select it as a buddy for each character that you want to use shields) and you instantly get shields, pummels, and all four throws!

HOW TO GRAB: Shielding is done by parrying, if you attack while shielding you grab. You can also Taunt to grab! Down + taunt taunts normally, and if you press Shield + Taunt it toggles.

PARRYING! Parry how you would in Ultimate to activate a Rivals Parry! (for those who don't mind getting their hands dirty, there's also Ultimate Parries in the code too that can be activated...)

CUSTOM THROWS: Custom throws can also be made for custom characters - I will make a tutorial eventually. Until then ask me about it on discord (goldenepsilon)! Thank you to Notakin for the shield sprites!

@NotCoddz Probably yeah, it'd need some fiddling though, if you want to try go for it

@FortressBrawler I don't have a version with only shielding but if you peek into the source code I think there's a variable to turn grabs off ?

this is really cool! is there a way you could program it so that you can jump out of shield or up-strong out of shield?

Character compatibilities can be added, yes, on either side

That said, I haven't done work on this in a long time so I'm probably not going to be starting now

When I use the shield,it makes a really loud noise,and the shield doesn’t actually appear

Cool mod, Albeit a little glitchy. Sometimes shielding does not prevent knockback and throwing sometimes does not throw the target in the correct direction, sometimes not even throwing them at all.
