Abrir el archivo (hardware_settings_config.xml)

Buscar <async_compute enabled="true" />

y remplazar por <async_compute enabled="false" />

Con esto cambiado, solo queda guardar los cambios y jugar!

Was having the DX12 on startup error, what fixed it for me was deleting intro videos as outlined here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/GRID_(2019)#Skip_intro_videos

Hope this works for other people too.

Running a RTX 4080 and it still throws this error on you.
Sometimes deleting the config works, other times searching for errors and I one time had that I have to close chrome.
Good luck on finding the real reason for this and sending a report helps nothing.

Your commenting on a post from 2019, I was running a 2080 Ti at the time and when this game launched it was a broken mess.

My game always work never crashed......or you maybe need a new graphics card if you had one just maybe try fixing the game or unistalling it i dont know what to say more of this

I had problems running the game immediately after installation. It seemed to be related to a DX12 dll file. I quit out of Steam to do some research on new graphics drivers. When I logged back in to Steam and restarted the game, it worked.
So if you get crashes straight after installing the game, try shutting down Steam and restarting. Hopefully that should help. (If you still get problems, trying closing everything down and rebooting Windows. That could help.)
