Does matchmaking always match you with 4 random players who are absolutely terrible at Dota while by comparison you're a Dendi/Topson/Ceb/Miracle/etc. MLG360NOSCOPE pro? It's hard, right? I mean...you can't be expected to carry everyone all by yourself.

Well fear no more, finally there is a simple solution. With the latest (Sep. 2019) matchmaking update solo and party MMR are no more.

You heard that right. That means there is absolutely no distinction between solo and party queueing now and it only benefits you to play in a party.
But wait...
Don't have any friends, forever alone, you're a nice guy but you never get a second date...or a first? Then as you play Dota 2, send friend requests to players you enjoy playing with...or crazy thought, send a friend request to the players that just whomped your butt.

If some guy on the other team just roflstomped you, then how great would it be to have that player on your team in your next game? (even though they're obviously a smurf/booster/cheater)

And when you play with friends of friends, send them friend requests too. Eventually, you'll have a pretty beefy list of people that you can play with and you won't have to constantly complain about how everyone sucks but you. Unless, maybe you're not as good as you think you are but...nah, that would be crazy.

I have been playing DotA2 for 6 years now, and made countless smurf accounts because of low priority. I just now won my first match after 6 months of constant losses.
