Following these tips can massively improve your gameplay.

Drifting is your friend.

One does not simply become a good driver. Be careful with your turns, DRIFTING IS YOUR FRIEND. To drift, make sure to go towards the outside or middle of a turn and press and hold Space.

Control

Try controlling your car the best you can, I know it may be hard with WASD but you can get used to it. #1) Keep your distance from other cars to prevent yourself from crashing into it.
#2) I know it sounds insane for a video game, but stay on the right side of the road.
#3) If there are a lot of cars around and you're driving the VIP Car, make sure to swerve around the civilian cars to confuse the terrorists, they'll usually drive recklessly or crash and get slowed down.

Another small tip:

Its better to decrease the graphics which decreases ping and the game will be smoother............. (Thank you targus 999 for your comment.)

@spaz managment issues Hit play game, double click the server you want (it's going to be US 1), find a server and double click that, then hit READY. Hope I helped.
